Everyone who has been chosen is in grave danger. You have been warned.
Got in at USC and there's practically nobody here. Few profiles and people I already know... already have facebook for that
Right when I open it says turn on sound and rotate phone so I do and nothing happens, when I close the app it causes my phone to crash for a few seconds.
It seems silly to pay for a mass advertising campaign then to tell people they can't use the app. It's similar to google early invite only approach and an interesting publicity move but why advertise it when it must be spread by invite. In my opinion this really limits the app, I guess they are trying to be hip and exclusive but it seems pointless when no one else can use it.
They advertise on Instagram, yet no one I know out of 20+ people got in from my school. All people I'd say should probably be in this. Kind of wonder how they select people then
If you want an app to be successful, I would think it would be wise to open up your customer base. If you open an app, and it says you "aren't in" based on a "scan" and initial process, one is tempted to delete the app and forget about it. Having to find someone to invite you (which is extremely difficult on large college campuses) seems almost impossible. And, little to no information is given as to what benefit users have to having access to the app, so there is virtually no incentive to find someone to invite you.
