Each member of the church that wished to participate was given $10 and six weeks too take some risks, use their talents to return as much money as possible. The cost to register a URL is roughly $10 a year. So I grabbed www.useyourtalents.org. My job/talent is making apps. So I made an app.
I order to make an app that is not to complex and could be done in the allotted time period, I choose to make a simple trivia app. Coming up with the trivia questions took way more time than I thought. The apps will consist of five sections of questions based on old testament trivia. Old testament trivia is better than new testament trivia.
In total 250 questions to challenge a scolar of any age. Game Centre enabled. 20 Achievements and a leader board that will keep track of the number of correct questions answered.
Money can be donated through the donation button in the About screen. All donations made through the website will go directly to the church.
So far the cost is $10.

Review: This is a really good app and not just because it's free. The trivia questions are old testament only and range from multiple choice to true or false and questions come at random. The app is very clean and easy to use. I recommend using this app with people who have at least read the old testament once in the last 3years. You can use it with anyone but some bible knowledge is recommended. I have personally gone thru about 100 of these trivia questions. This is an excellent tool for an ice breaker before teaching a class or just fellowshipping with friends. I really hope to see if maybe we can get a New Testament version of this wonderful app ;) Comment: I plan to use this with the youth group I teach. The questions & the rich backgrounds are a great way to teach my church kids since the majority of them are unchurched and have little to no biblical support at home. They haven't been brought up in the church to learn all the typical bible stories one grows up hearing about. This app will serve as a quick teaching tool to maybe catch them up. I see this as an effective tool to supplement my teaching but in no way be my main teaching instrument. I really recommend this app, please support it.
