Uber does NOT do proper background checks! There are way too many stories of women being kidnapped and this in UNACCEPTABLE! I requested to take an Uber home the other night and was almost kidnapped myself by a “highly rated” Uber driver. My driver went off the gps less than a minute into the trip and I quickly had to press the alert button on the app to get help. When customer service contacted me, they were useless. I will be using Lyft from now on.

Both Uber and Lyft used to offer coupons and discounts before the pandemic hit, but ever since they’ve used it as an excuse to gouge customers for all they can. And conveniently at times when it’s “busy” (even if traffic isn’t even that bad) the price triples. It’s still cheaper than Lyft, but marginally. The reason I gave two stars is because to be fair, most of the drivers I’ve had through this app have been great. But I’m beyond sick and tired of paying more for two trips than I do for gas every week just because I needed a ride for whatever reason. It’s literally highway robbery.


I want my money BACK, not Uber bucks!!!

I was charged double for a tip because of a glitch in the app system, and they refunded in uber credit. I want my money back!!!! I never want to use uber again!!! Your “uber cash” is useless to me!

It baffles me that such a huge company has the worse customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. So i tried to rent a car through uber and I thought wow that was so easy. Anyways I get to the rental company and they tell me that I can’t rent the car as I’m a local and to contact Uber for a refund. So I try to contact Uber they tel me to get into contact with Carttrawler, I do and I provide everything they ask me for only to be told oh we’re sorry we can’t refund you because the money actually was pulled from Uber. So here I go again trying to get into contact with Uber and they try to direct me back to ace and cartrawler and it’s such a nightmare. There’s no support number to call theres nothing! Never rent a car through them.

I live literally a mile away from where I work and the fare is as expensive is when I worked at somewhere 6-7 miles away. Uber you really need to step it up. I really don’t care if it’s busy or not. If it were busy, put it up by 4-5 dollars. Also you need to treat your drivers with more care. They only get a small percentage of the fare and of course they get all the tip. I use Uber all the time and I gotta say I’m not pleased with how it’s gone downhill.

scheduled a ride hours ahead of time, then the time comes around for me to be picked up and drivers continuously cancel on me. after five times of being cancelled on i finally get a driver and now it’s gonna take 35 minutes. so at this point the ride i scheduled ahead of time wouldnt even be there till an hour later and that’s if this one actually ended up coming. so finally i decide to just cancel and find another way home and they charge me a fee??? this isn’t the first time i’ve had an issue with drivers continuously cancelling.
