The driver’s are very rude and abusive plus uber doesn’t even reply to complains. Just switched to careem.

A lot of times I take Uber either the driver is not familiar with the area and seems to take awkward back streets or drive you around in circles, rather than take the most direct route to the destination. Also, the surges can be kind of ridiculous. A $10 trip can be $30 easily depending on where and when you’re taking Uber, so it’s not really consistent in pricing. Uber is great for going-to and leaving a bar/club. But to consistently take it for work (for people on a budget or fixed income) makes it challenging sometimes.

Had 2 very pleasant Uber experiences yesterday getting from home to the train station and from station to hotel in Boston. Very quick access and reasonable pricing. Hope Uber takes good care of their drivers.
