1 and a half weeks ago I started to use Uber for a 2 mile commute, a couple days in and today my regular trip that would cost 10$ tops has came up as high as 21$ remember to go 2 miles and a driver showing up a block and a half from me, so I get dropped off at my stop by a friend 6 minutes after With 4 1/2 miles to go I look up how much it would be to go that far and it says 13$ As soon as this app sees that you have a pattern or need they hyper inflate the cost, two words corporate greed

Stupid expensive ride fare

Don’t know if it’s a California thing but Uber just loves to constantly raise its ride fare. Not only are the pickup times ridiculous recently but the cost to go a couple miles are so high. $40 to go less than 10 miles during no traffic hours. Sometimes it quotes me up to $80 and fluctuates price for no reason. Garbage company doesn’t care for its users anymore. All they want is more of our hard earned money without giving us anything.

Multiple voucher issue

Generally the app does what it’s supposed to do. Good integration with the maps. Good description of driver and arrival time. However, it can’t handle multiple vouchers. I know this is a rare issue but I had 2 vouchers on my account. I applied both to my ride but I was still charged on my credit card (couldn’t apply second voucher). What’s really awful is trying to get support. I went though 4 agents and none could fix the problem. The help system is awkward to use and there is no way I see to actually talk with a human. They even told me the issuer of the voucher was responsible. I spoke with issuer of the voucher and they obviously don’t have control over the Uber app. Email replies were rejected so you have to use the app to interact with support. They also quickly close conversations and issues so it’s obvious they are rewarded for closing issues even if not resolved… So, beware if you encounter an out of the ordinary situation!!!

Just as bad as Lyft. 50-100 bucks just to go 6 miles, outrageous.

If you have issues with your account it’s virtually impossible to get ahold of someone. Spend some overhead and hire employees.

I am new to uber and used it twice to get to work and back home on saturday. worked fine and everything was great. but then on sunday i went to buy some food on uber eats and none of my payment options were working and it wouldn't let me add my card. naturally i went to the support chat and everything was helpful until they sent me to the specialized team for more help. after 30 min of waiting for them and a total of one hour of waiting from my original chat they finally answered just to let me know they were disabling my account for not following their terms and conditions. i asked them to explain what i did wrong since i was originally just asking why my payments weren't going through but they answered again with they were disabling it for longer because of fraudulent activity. DO NOT USE !!! the customer service is TERRIBLE and they may end up deactivating your account for NO REASON!!

Lately when I place my pickup time for 3:40 Uber assigns drivers at that time that are an hour away and in the middle of a trip so the actual pickup will be like 4:30 sorry but that’s insane, and this is seems to be the usual now. Would not recommend, use Lyft or something else instead.

Absolutely INSANE and highly frustrating! These prices used to be affordable but now it’s literally breaking my pockets! Why am I paying $24 if I literally live 5 minutes away? Bring back the old Uber to when the prices were actually decent. I know there’s a world wide shortage but come on $20 for not even a full mile ??? Fix this cause it’s bad business.

Their prices is too high !!!! They changed all the prices and added twice the amount that’s crazy ain’t no way people are going to be paying for that much. Switching to Lyft.
