Flawed app does not retain entered data

Mostly useful app, but it has a tremendous obvious bug that has now wasted hours of my time over and over again. If you type details into a card, and you lock your phone, get a call, or otherwise exit the app before hitting "save", all those details you notated are discarded. Why? Because someone at Trello thought this was a good idea--most likely someone who believes there is a hierarchy of human life. There is no rational reason to program the app like this. If I take the time to sort through 100 assets, and notate which ones need changes, WHY THE F*CK WOULD THE APP DISCARD MY NOTATIONS?! In what situation do you type out useful notes and then say, "would be better if we discard them, because we can't be sure that the user actually wants those words in that field they selected and typed in". ? Now here I am, pressed on a deadline, redoing work that has already been done--yet again--because apps backed by venture capitalists are lazy and poorly-considered.
Improving But Web Version Still Better

I first started using Trello with my husband as a ToDo type app in March 2021. The mobile version for iOS was so bad at that time I never used it and I eventually deleted the app keeping website open for use to try to mimic convenience of an app. It had really bad flow and bugs when clicking. Today, I downloaded the app again. It is much improved and is way more useable. However, you still cannot edit or create templates in app. I am not sure why this is not available in app and only available in web version. Trello should either 1) make app experience the same as web or 2) stop saying the app is better when you visit web version.

Life altering organizational and aesthetic features. It’s ideal for planning anything and everything. My favorite part is the FREE stunning images we get to set as a background to the Boards! Oh… and it helps my ADHD a ton. And by the way, I never EVER write reviews. I am the worst possible customer when it comes to leaving reviews. Two suggestions: 1)Make a trash icon for us to drag-drop lists we want gone. 2) Let me drag-drop lists from Board to Board Awesome product… Thank you!

I use this app for projects at work. I use this for projects at home. Take the challenge try it, after you use it you wont be able to live with out it.
Trello was great now it’s a privacy risk

Been using Trello many years. They have changed privacy policies and are now considered a privacy risk. They require you to allow all types of information such as web tracking, location tracking, device tracking… I understand free costs money but if you have sensitive information for corporate privacy… this is a hugely risky move.

I love the Trello app so much, although I do think it’s a little tiny bit easier to use on desktop. It’s still one of the best app integrations I’ve seen, which was why I was so surprised to see that there was no widget! I keep my google calendar and outlook widgets on my Home Screen, and I would love to also put the Trello board of my choosing with its first few cards displayed on my Home Screen! Please consider this for the near future <3
