Good App by no Techdegree

This is a good app, much easier to navigate now. However without access to Techdegree it is essentially useless. Hopefully access will be added to a future update.

I understand the decision to go the route of a universal iOS app since iPhones are such a huge market. But, unfortunately, this most recent update is a step back for those who used the app on the iPad previously. Not being able to use the app in landscape mode is just a hindrance on a device the size of the iPad or iPad Mini. That being said, everything still works as expected and TeamTreeHouse is still an amazing learning resource. So I am overall still very happy.

Useless on iPad landscape

So disappointed that you did not consider those of us who use an iPad in landscape mode. I will no longer use this app and will just use the browser on my iPad. Terrible UX. #uxfail

This is a useful app

A big bonus for this app is that, in addition to watching the videos, it also enables you to do the exercises. This is in contrast to the competition. As a developer, I like to sharpen my skills, but after being in front of a computer working all day, I appreciate this app allowing me to kick back with the iPad in the evenings. Working on skills while also taking a break from the computer. Other times it allows me to learn/practice while traveling. The app can be a bit slow sometimes when retrieving data from the server, but it's not a big deal. The one thing that really cranks me out and hinders my use of this app is that it logs me out all the bloody time. It's actually super annoying. Please. My only request of the developers is to allow staying logged in. ******* Update ******* Please for the love of god stop making me sign in constantly. I'm going to start molting.

Great for iPad and laptop; not so good for iPhone

Love the courses and content. But when I'm assigned to do the coding challenges the text doesn't fit the screen width and I cannot see what I fully have to do. I cannot scroll to the right. Please fix

Can't use app in landscape

Can't use app in landscape. All code challenge text is cut-off on an iPad.

Was a 5 star app. Now confusing and unusable.

I used to use my iPad in landscape mode to watch the lessons and complete the code challenges. With the new update, it doesn't support landscape mode. Sometimes it randomly tries to switch to landscape mode, cutting off half of the screen. Honestly, I'm probably not going to be renewing my membership when it comes time this year.

Fixed the app breaking bug, then ruined the app

Seriously? I purchased and iPad Pro 9.7 with keyboard specially for Treehouse courses. The app was unusable due to the inability to complete code challenges. Now that it's fixed, they went ahead and made the app totally useless with NO landscape mode on iPad. I'm unsubscribing from Treehouse and I'm going to stop recommending it to friends. The company is clearly ran by noobs.

This app is fantastic for learing on the fly. Or, it would be if not for one enormous issue. On an iPad, their is no way to work or complete lessons in landscape mode. Many people have keyboards that are designed to fit an iPad in landscape mode, so it is extremely difficult to get any work done. As many other people have this same issue, I am confident that Treehouse will fix this glaring issue properly.
