I really wish this could work FULLY ?

Coneyisld

This app is nice, clean and polished, however I have a 6s plus and it works about 50% of the time when trying to complete code challenges. It IS BEST FOR WATCHING THE VIDEOS, other than that it crashes! Plz fix this issue I really want it to work especially since this is a programming learning application that I pay a monthly membership for!! ?

Too Many Bugs to Recommend Over Desktop Version

timjunior5

While most of the app is pretty good, the fill-in answer questions don't seem to register the correct answers. Please fix this ASAP, as I am on the road a lot and it would help to practice with bug-free quizzes.

UI could be improved.

I'm a huge fan of tree house and am glad they released this all but it could use a lot of improvements. For one I downloaded videos so I could watch them when I don't have service. But when I open the so if searches for a signal in order to load anything. Including the menu to select my downloaded videos this making the feature useless. Also the app will say certain answers to code challenge are incorrect when they are in fact correct.

Fantastic code learning app

I am so excited to have Treehouse avaliable on my iPhone now. It increases my opportunities to learn. This app is great and the service is top notch. A great way to learn about coding.

Present but not optimized

On iPad mini 4, the app crashes occasionally, the items do not fit to the screen properly, and when the app exits, it wipes my login. So when I come into the app again, it is like I had never opened the app in the first place. Also I would like to see Integration with the Nexus player (chromecast API) and AppleTV API. IT-PRO, a similar service, provides these. If the chromecast service is available and the bugs are fixed, I would have a solid pro subscription for this site as it is a great resource, but I cannot commit until it is a solid learning platform available on iOS.

THE way to learn to code

GinRicky

I've been trying to learn to code for a while and I've run into a lot of bad how to books and websites. Treehouse is exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. It's basically like taking college classes for a far more reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Please fix

diyDaddy32

Excited about the app. Some questions are not viewable and "fill in blank" answers aren't accepted. Please fix, thanks.

Excellent content, poor implementation

EonicalRift

Let me start by emphasizing that the content in the library & tutorials is better than any other I have encountered. It is at the right level, to the point, and gets you productive without making you feel like "Dummies". That said, the iOS app, especially on an iPad, is a sad advertisement for Treehouse. Maybe the folks creating the app need to take the course too? Here are my pet peeves, none of which should have escaped even a minor quality review: 1. Why force a login each time? Why not remember my username and password? 2. In quizzes, answers are not being shown completely. Changing the orientation doesn't help. 3. I got a "Booyah", with an option to rate the app. I tapped "Rate the app", and the app seemed to crash. I could go on but you get the idea. Poor consumption channel is getting in the way of excellent content. Please do something about it. Kudos again for the content, keep it up.

Missing 1.1 video speed!!

E-ngineer

Sooo happy you guys made the app universal, now I finally don't have to carry my iPad around just for treehouse :) I'm missing though the main feature why I would like to use it as an app instead of in the browser: the video speed option of 1.1! The iPhone app only offers 1 or 1.5, but 1.5 is much too fast to understand language. 1.1 was a great help though for topics to review or when the teacher speaks too slowly, can you add those speeds between 1 and 1.5 to the iPhone app please, or to the browser, it's the only reason why I'm using iPad for treehouse on the go... Thank you :)
