Why is sign in required?
Chaerd

It’s faster to just buy a paper ticket than deal with sign in. Update to support Apple Pay and no sign in requirements.

Waste of time

Tried to use the app but it wanted an update which didn’t work because it wouldn’t take my password finally just deleted it I will pay on the bus

Only works on some buses in Seattle area
sigh4682

Apparently there are 2 “companies” that operate buses in the Seattle area. This only works on one of them. The bus I got on said “Sound Transit” and the driver made me pay cash since it wasn’t the same company. Not sure how to tell the difference yet. You may want to check if it works for the bus you are boarding with the driver before you activate the ticket. It should be more clear in the description that this doesn’t work all over Seattle.

They changed allowed password length and locked me out
Emtucifor

They forced me to update the app, and upon attempting to login again, I was told that passwords have a max of 20 characters. Well, guess what? My password is 28 characters. I relied on you, and trusted you, and you failed. Good thing I had $3 in my pocket or I wouldn’t have made my bus ride! And that’s a loss of 25 cents because the fare is $2.75. And that was literally my last dollar. I have no cash to get back after lunch, so I’ll be delayed getting back to work figuring out a solution. This is a huge inconvenience to me. What a moronic thing to do! There is no actual technical reason to disallow longer passwords. And if you’re going to limit password length, the *intelligent* thing to do would be to check the password lengths of your existing users and ensure they can continue using your app without interruption. Perhaps you could restrict password length only for new accounts at first, then set up a prompt in the app for people to change their password for some months, then finally email them with a link to carry out the password reset at a convenient time. At the very least, you could have seen that I was trying to log in with too-long a password and suggested a password reset. Passwords should be stored as salted hashes anyway, so 20 characters gets you no database storage benefit unless you’re violating good security practices. You’re not doing that, are you? And if you *are*, foolishly, storing actual passwords encrypted or not, why don’t you just truncate my 28-character password and upon sign-in do the same thing? I have reset my account, but your habit of doing things to the app that make it not work, and which I only discover seconds before wanting to get on a bus, is really lame.

Rejects credit card.
BobInTheBul

I’ve tried to add a credit card but it says my (new) credit card expiration date is invalid and demands the date of the expired one, which (obviously) doesn’t work. I tried to write to the support and after filling all the fields correctly it says one field has not been filled in. So I can’t even get support.

App with no support
jbrunerwa

I’ve used the app successfully a few times and it works well. I’m an infrequent user and when I tried to use it recently I couldn’t remember my password. That’s when I realized that this app has zero support. After unsuccessfully resetting my password via the in-app mechanism (it looks like it works but the reset email never arrives), I tried sending a message to support via the app - zero response. Next I tried the kingcounty.gov “transit go ticket” - zero account help could be found. Lastly, I tried calling the number listed within the app and on the webpage for support - complete disaster! They kept telling me the app was “done by a third-party” and that they had zero idea how to get me in contact with someone that could help me. At this point the app is completely unusable for me. I can’t login and I can’t re-create my account because my email is known to the app already, so it keeps saying it is already used by another account. While the app was promising, the lack of support makes it a non-starter. I’d highly recommend you not use this app.

Surprise upgrade
nickname hassles

Couldn’t buy tickets because it had to upgrade first. Locked me out. Quicker to wait in line than screw with waiting for the update.

Been using for a couple of days without incident

Looks like the recent bug fixes have made the app a lot better. It’s responsive and easy to use. Of course, I’d like more support figuring out what tickets to actually buy and more accurate routing but I have been managing those outside of this app. The app is currently just a wallet for tickets and serves that role well enough.

Not bad
Mcpho

First time using this and it’s actually for me at least very convenient and actually very easy to use the only con: it would’ve been even better if it had like some sort of guide. Based on reviews many were confused and didn’t know it was a single use or something.

Works for me
yiranecho
