This app doesn't work. Their old app didn't work either.

Good App

JRBlack3

Needs a little improvement. One should be able to set up a list of favorites prior to any orders. Driver was one hour late on first order.

It's a headache

Love life- always

This app is a headache. It keeps kicking me out, I log in again and then it tries to load and nothing happens. After having my groceries all done and ready to check out to be delivered the next day...it kicked me out and couldn't log back in until the next day. Now I'm trying to modify the order and it's doing the same thing. Customer service at Tom Thumb is great, but the app is horrible.

Wouldn't recognize my phone number as my reward number (the number Ive used at checkout for the last 15 years) and when I tried to contact them on the site? Contact form syntax error message :-( disappointed. Will try again later

Late, poor quality, bad substitutions

iTeachPhysics

They were 45 minutes late... my apples are bruised... even my oranges are bruised... my milk has a too-soon expiration date... one key ingredient I needed was out of stock and not substituted with anything... and things that were substituted were done so with food I have no desire to eat. Sure, it was convenient, but I don't think it was worth it.

Really great first experience

The cons- I could only do next day delivery, so I ordered yesterday and received my food today. So I wasn't able to order and get the food within an hour of ordering. With that said.... The pros- I saved money by not buying everything in the store, just what I needed. The app calculates your cart cost so you can stay within budget. You choose your delivery time and can save money depending on the time you select. I gave a 4 hour delivery window, 11-3, and my food was delivered at 11:29. The delivery driver was also incredibly friendly. (It may not matter to some, but it stuck out to me and added to the great experience). I could see this being a great tool for the mom or dad who doesn't want to drag several kids to the store. I don't have kids, but the convenience of having the food delivered is awesome. I will definitely use this again. ***As a side note*** many people complained about having to always login to the app before using it. I personally prefer that. That way, no one can order through the app without my permission. (Again - I'm thinking if you have kids that you let play games on your phone...)

Good idea *very* poorly executed

Title says it all. Loads it tried playing with it quit and immediately unloaded the app

Crashes a lot

Zog Software

Couldn't even get my first order through, I think it's due to the relogin thing below, but mine just dies each time it tries to connect again. Terrible design, let me skip all the promo and substitution etc and just let me get my order!!

Terrible

I ordered food to be delivered Tuesday. I let the driver into my building but he never made it to my door. Then they charged me and asked how my completed delivery went? So I called and was on hold for 45 mins while they rescheduled it for Friday night. So after I cancel my plans to wait on the grocery delivery they never showed up again. The call center has been very nice but this app and service is garbage.

Need's some work

Let me start by saying I shop at Tom Thumb for almost everything. I've lived about a half mile from one for nearly 3 years. The app and service worked better than I though. The isle layout is actually easy to use and logging in and getting checked out wasn't hard at all. It does need a save setting for my log in info and needs to stop logging out in the middle of an order. Interface aside there is a lot that needs to be fixed. The biggest problem is they only have about 60 percent of my shopping list available. I'm less than a mile from a Tom Thumb and many of the things I know they have in stock are not on here. Next is the up charge. I'm not lying when I say each item is marked up nearly a dollar. I can understand that it would be more money to use this service but I spent $225 on what I would get in the store for at most $175. This thing isn't that bad and it's convenient if your running low on milk or toilet paper and won't need it for at least 24 hours, but let's face it, there are a lot of other services that already do that.
