Held each spring in Tallinn, Estonia since 2009, TMW is a weeklong celebration of talent, curiosity, creativity, freedom and equality. It’s where brilliant artists and thinkers from around the world mix with friendly locals.
Entire Tallinn Music Week lasts for a week – from 2nd to 8th April, 2018. Music Festival takes place from Thursday to Saturday, 5th to 7th April.
Music festival
TMW´s 3-day music festival presents brave new sounds from all over Europe and beyond in Tallinn’s best concert venues, clubs and theatres. Around 250 artists - from cult to pop, from bass to metal, from folk to classical music - meet an audience of around 30000 people.
Creative Impact Conference
The two-day TMW conference is a leading creative impact event
focusing on music, new economy, civic initiative, gender politics, better cities and design thinking.
City stage
Free pop-up concerts and special sets by festival acts in cafés, galleries, shops, studios and private homes. This is our way to show you around in Tallinn and visit some of our favourite hangouts.
Arts
Contemporary arts programme curated by the Estonian Contemporary Art Development Center (ECADC), featuring the gallery evening with extended opening hours and public voting for future arts stars.
Talks
Free public talks tackling various topics from music to city planning and the future of mankind - in an easygoing pub-quiz chatter mode.
Tastes
A handpicked selection of Tallinn’s restaurants and eateries with carefully crafted chef’s menus and special offers to festival guests. A true delight to any foodie.
Urban Space
Tallinn Music Week, the most curious city festival moves outdoors to greet the arrival of spring with street art, secret gigs, pop-up food and transformative actions.
Design market
A two-day design market in Kultuurikatel. A well-curated selection of the most exciting Nordic and Baltic design brands and designers.
Films
Documentaries binding together unlimited self-expression and diversity in human existence. Filmmakers and associates will attend the screenings for Q&A sessions.

TMW2018 mobile app provides useful features and guidance for festivalgoers. It facilitates planning and orienting in a wealth of festival information, navigating between the festival venues in Tallinn and staying up-to-date with the event info in real time.
