Reviews

Good service. Horrible app
The Surge

The good: Tithely is a great service that makes giving donations to church easy. The bad: where do I start... first, the app has not been updated in 2 years! That’s insane. For such a key part of many churches, the app needs to be constantly updated. Second, the experience is not great. If I want to make a donation, I’m taken out of the app and have to finish in Safari. Seriously? Developers, please update this app

Apple Pay? This “app” needs a lot of work
JoJeanJack

I have tried unsuccessfully to use this app. It states that it takes Apple Pay, however the payment key remains grayed out when selecting this option. As you do not pay in the app and are rerouted to Safari there is no way I will enter my banking information or credit card information. Fix it so that it will accept Apple Pay as stated and I will use your app that reroutes me to Safari

WAS a Great app but NOW Black page
INVSTG8R

I was giving with it. I encouraged most of my Church to Give using it. Then in the last several months it became erratic and unpredictable. The Giving page will go “Blank white page” requiring you to back out and try again. I even deleted and reinstalled the app. Now all I get is a blank white page. The members of my Church are reporting the same thing. We’re going to have to use something else.

Needs to be much better
JustWhit

I have found that the app is just not good and could certainly use a major rehaul. Unless I’m doing something wrong, this app doesn’t remember my credentials even when I activate TouchID = no bueno for me. You have to find your church every time, would rather there be a “favorites” or a default church so I can conveniently pay my home church without the mess. The app also takes you to a website to complete a transaction, maybe should have been embedded in the app itself. Using the button from my church’s website makes it much more convenient than the useless app.

Excessive charges
alanh563

Charges exorbitant amounts whether you use credit or direct bank withdrawal. This is common for credit cards but not for bank withdrawals. $81 fee for a single transfer! Ridiculous

Hopeful
Tyler Chavis

I am a pastor and utilize tithe.ly for our congregation. This review is concerning the app experience, not Tithe.ly overall. The app is not very efficient. The redirect to the website is not ideal. Each time, even though I set up Touch ID, I have to type in my login info which is disappointing. I then have to search for the church name instead of it being saved as the one I give to. I’m not very impressed, but hopeful this will change soon.

Honest Review
‼️‼️important‼️‼️

What’s the point of the app if it just takes me to a website to give? Other than that it works.

Works Great on my iPhone

This app is fantastic! I tried others but the processing speed is super fast. NO PROBLEMS

Doesn’t work with Apple Pay
1135623

Says you can pay with Apple Pay, but “Give” button remains grayed out when I select Apple Pay. Contacted customer support but they were clueless as to how to fix it. If I’m going to pay an extra 1-3% for the convenience of using this app, then it should be convenient to use. This app is anything but convenient.

Cost

Why does it cost a fee? Where does the fee go?
