Problem is, there is no way to find out when a photo was taken with the standard iPhone camera.

With Timestamp it! All you have to do is take a picture like you normally would and it will automatically be timestamped with the current date and time.
If you can't see the "Timestamp" you can change the color of the font to make it more readable.
After you're done just press save or share image

What if you have old pictures that haven't been timestamped yet?
This app has got you covered. Just open up the photo library from within the app and choose the old photo you want to timestamp.
You don't want to Timestamp it as today's date though right? You can choose a date in the past to timestamp your old photos.

This app is just useless... It used to be good although slow but now it either crashes on start or not long after. Impossible to load anything from the camera roll

I’ve had this app for a very very long time. Yes it makes a date stamped copy and keeps the original that you need to delete. It was all originally good when you could select up to 30 pics to date stamp at a time until the update. Note that it does not show in app purchases section but now you can only select 3 pics at a time or you have to pay. I take on average 70-140 pics for each job and 30 was tolerable but 3 is ridicules and therefore forced me to delete and use a better app.

Always freezing and sometimes take 4-10 minutes to load the app and photos. Won’t ever use this again.

This has been frustrating the second time around. I have full version however it will only stamp 1 photo at a time. Then the app will crash. My last iPhone it worked great. This iPhone X version crashed constantly. Please help and I’d love to update my review to be glowing...really need the app to work! Not 1 photo at a time. Thx

I have to use it for my research class so I’ve been using it for a couple months already but with the new update, it doesn’t open and start up :( it’s a white screen and freezes like that and crashes right afterwards.
