If you want to calculate your working hours and you started work at 9:08 and finished at 11:53, then type in 11:53 - 9:08. time:calc will tell you that you have worked 2 hours 45 minutes.
If you are editing video need to know 18:23:32:18 + 8 minutes 3 seconds and 12 frames, simply type 18:23:32:18 + 8:03:12 and time:calc will tell you to look at 18:31:36:05 (in this case working at 25FPS). Industry standard and custom frame rates are supported. Memory keys are also handy if you are working with constant offsets and timings.
Bought it, use it and love it. Now add a feature allowing us to calculate the period in days or hours between specified dates. Kudos on a great app this far.
I'm an Air Traffic Controller and use this to keep track of training times. Works like a champ!
time:calc v1.2 is great but it's missing the ability to convert timecode between different video formats or return the frame number. I gladly pay $2 & hope they will add this function in the next version to make it a truly killer app. (If they add this function they will need to make it easier to switch between timecode formats.)
Two hot apps in one nite! This app is my second find. I've been looking & looking (for days) for a time calculator and this exceeds my expectations immensely! The options are perfect, the UI is perfect, it's all great here! Thank you for this! In the words of the King Steve Ballmer, "Developers, developers, developers...!"
The app does everything it says, but I'd really like the ability to divide time by a number so if I ran 3.1 miles in 26:29 - I'd like the ability to divide 26:29 by 3.1 to get 8:32 which be my per mile average pace.
Simple & effective... As a composer of music for different mediums, a great tool indeed. Life saver for cue sheet calcs!
App seems to work but the timecode settlng only allows frames to be input and converted to timecode. It doesn't allow you to input the time in simple h:m:s:f format and add multiple clip times. I need a claculator to convert my clip lengths to frames just to use this thing. You NEED to fix this or change the description/remove the feature...
This is a great little app. If you need to add or subtract blocks of time, this program does the job and does it nicely. Very intuitive and easy to use.
I find it very tricky and bothersome to add up time sheets of hours. This app is crisply designed, easy to use (although a trifle daunting at first glance) and versatile. I now use it all the time and love it.
