Nice enough game

crop duster dude

High quality game but a bit flawed. I was about 9 hours in on hard when I stopped playing. I got tired of all the backtracking as new areas aren’t really introduced. It feels kind of too long and repetitive. The story doesn’t hook you. There may be too many unnecessary plot elements, and the difficult obscure puzzles combined with the large environment becomes kind of frustrating

Just like the old days

Beautiful new game from the likes of day of the tentacle and monkey island. So good. Thanks for this awesome adventure!

Gr8 game BUT... ??

Blarg gurgle gasp

This game is great, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and found the puzzles entertaining to solve. However at times there are not enough clues that will help you solve certain puzzles *SPOILERS...kinda* For example: When Delores needs a specific tube type to enter into the factory you need to give her shirt with the tube design to the tube shop. There is absolutely no clue to this, and I had no reason to think that this is what I needed to do. Towards the end of the game I found myself constantly calling the Hint Hotline. The ending was also very lackluster, leaving loose ends. The other thing... THE PRICE. I was expecting this game to be WAYY longer. For $10??! This was about a 2 -4 hour long game depending on how good you are at solving the puzzles. There’s also tons of items that are completely useless, certain story plots that are never answered, and once you beat it the first time it’s kind of pointless. I have no reason to keep the game, and I’m kind of disappointed I payed $10 for a one time use game :/ If you’re willing to pay the price the story and game play is great. But maybe save your money and buy two puzzle style games instead of just the one. Unfortunately why’ll I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t recommend, wish I saved my money

iCloud saves?

Adam Slechta

I love playing this game on my iPhone. And when I got an iPad Pro, I was excited to continue my game on a larger screen, but found out there is no iCloud save support at all.. I emailed the developer, and their response was “we’re not interested in making iCloud save support. If you have the game on two devices, you’ll know how to progress the story on a second device.” Basically turned me off of the game and haven’t played it since. It’s a huge bummer..

Brilliant love letter to classic adventure games!

DZ-Jay

I backed this game in Kickstarted two years ago and followed its development process until release. I played it first on the Mac and loved it, but must admit that the iPad version is the definitive edition. This game is just perfectly made for tablet gaming! The interface is very intuitive; the story funny, interesting, and compelling; and the characters very well realized, with brilliant voice acting. Thimbleweed Park is a small town where some strange things have been going on for years. Ever since it's famous fully-automated Pillow Factory burned down, the town had been going downhill -- yet people living there seem to love it and fall over themselves to praise the reclusive and strange pillow magnate. You start the game playing a couple of FBI agents who arrive to investigate a murdered body found by the river. Soon it becomes clear that different motives have brought them to town. As you investigate the murder and get deeper into the story of the town and its people, you realize that the dead body is the least of your problems! A big conspiracy unravels and you are deep in the middle of it! "Thimbleweed Park" is modeled after classic "Point-and-Click" adventure games like "Day Of The Tentacle," "Maniac Mansion," and "The Secret Of Monkey Island," yet it is a game like no other. The puzzles are intricate, very logical, and always interesting. It includes a "Casual Mode," aimed at beginners or casual gamers, which trims down the difficulty of some of the deeper puzzle chains without cutting any of the story or character arcs. Plus, it offers a spoiler-free, in-game hint "hotline" that is masterfully incorporated into the game, to aid the novice and seasoned adventurer alike. Brilliant! dZ.

Generational Perfection

Interpol2046

If you liked “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” then this will really hit you in the heart. From the jokes, to the pop culture and vernacular references, I feel like this game was made for me! I genuinely laughed and had a wonderful time playing this. It’s got nicely challenging puzzles and things to figure out. The different character storylines were interesting. It has a few cool little twists in it, and the entire adventure game experience of it all was well worth the price. It’s really exceptional. Well done.

Loved it!

Intraordinary

I grew up playing point and click adventure games. They are still my favorite to play. Please continue to make these!
