I ALMOST FELL FOR A SCAM WITH THIS APP!!

I ALMOST FOR SCAMMED!!! I got a message saying that they charged me for a Mac book $2200 on Amazon and I went to call the number it said on the message and the man told me to download this app thank goodness my brother told me what this app is about. And I started questioning the man saying if they did charge me and he said yes but when I went to check on my bank log in it said nothing was charged and that's when I knew something wasn't right. I hung up the phone and he started spam calling me from another phone number! Don't fall for this scams!! I changed the passwords to everything just in case because I gave him my phone number and email and now I'm good but this was truly scary!

The operators that I’ve dealt with on January 30 Saturday between the hours of two and 245 hung up the phone on me if used to give me the information. Refused to tell me their name. And I ask a supervisor refuse to transfer the call. I need contact information of who this is where they were and name so I can get in contact with them.I’ve already registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will be contacting the lawyer you can reach me at 301-213-7842 my name is Tanya Fletcher
Claiming to be Amazon fraud support team

I was contacted today by a gentleman who claim to be in the fraud department of Amazon. He said that my account has been compromised and somebody in Germany is trying to make a purchase of an iPhone for $700 and that my IP address has been compromised. They are using this app to be able to access peoples screen to gather information claiming that they work for Amazon to protect the IP and network from potential fraud and hackers. Me being a big Amazon user and trust Amazon this guy seemed legit, after the demeanor has changed when I wasn’t being cooperative and him being pushy I decided to pull back a little bit and tell him that I was not comfortable with allowing him to access my screen and information he then proceeded to demand me to download this app to be able to access my phone to secure the network. I then hung up with him and called Amazon directly, confirmed it was not Amazon. Please be careful guys I don’t know what information he was able to gather from this but I did go and secure everything on my phone and change everything so just keep in mind things and people are out there to get you and they will go to any links to trick you. I also pass the number along to Amazon and it is being investigated and looked into I will post the number here in the comments and I called the local police department as well and reported them to the fraud claims- +1 (206) 424-1327

So I finally figured out it was a scam I called back the number to try to trick them I told them I was trying to recover an email he told me go to my App Store download this app I said all right I stopped in his tracks I said you need me to download the scam app right the quick review and he said no ma’am I am here to tell you and hung up in my face

Was scammed out of $1999.00 by scammers using this program. My bank transferred this money using Zelle and tells me I’m out $1999.00. I’m changing banks and will continue to expose these scammers. They claimed to be part of a security team from Amazon and issued me an e-check draft from Chase Bank all in a phoney $799.00 charge for an iPhone from Amazon.

Trying to get a hold of PayPal through google we wound up calling a number that was not PayPal they asked me to get this app and buy a apple iTunes card for a hundred dollars. First clue they had a wired Indian accent. Do not use this app. They’ll be able to see everything on your screen including keyboard strokes input, that means they’ll get your password and bank info. Don’t trust google!
