This app makes separating teams a breeze, set the total number of players, number of teams and generate teams! No names needed, just line people up and hit generate.

Want to add names? No problem app has that feature as well!

Want to have those names stored into groups of people... like if you have multiple classes, or multiple soccer groups, or game nights! App does that too!

How about being able to rate players and have the app automatically separate the best into teams! Turn player Ratings on and off in the settings menu!

Player from a group not here that week, easily mark them as inactive and create new random teams.

Don't like the random generated lineup? Do it again! Sort them, slice them, dice them!

Lock players to certain teams to separate players to create even teams with random players filling in the remaining spots.

Want to change people within that list, just press the team # to cycle them through the teams.

Email the random teams before the event? This app has that as well!

This is a free app, but if you want to support the development efforts for this and other apps purchase the remove ad feature and the unlimited groups feature!

I use this app in my high school English classroom to create mixed ability groups. The star system allows me to get a good mix of students, and have more effective discussions. The interface is very confusing, but it’s fine once you get used to it. I’ve searched for a better app that can do this, but I have never found one.

This app is hard to use if you have a large number of students. It doesn’t allow you to add gender or age. Simple but not for a school setting.

I use this app in the classroom and love what it can do. The only improvement for this app would be to make the ratings not be visible when the teams are created. It is a lot awkward when students see how you ranked them. If this feature is already there, I just cannot find it. If that feature were present, for sure would give it 5 stars! UPDATE: I have never seen a company that has been more willing to make an app useful for the one. They chose to make some changes that benefited me and my students. I can now turn the stars on and off so students cannot see how I rank them. Thank you for listening and being so easy to work with!!!! Love this app and more importantly, love the app developers!!!

This app works great for creating the random groups we need each week, but better than that, their customer service is excellent! The quick and efficient response I received when I had a problem was so helpful and greatly appreciated.

I use the app to set the teams for our ice hockey club pick up game. I’ve been using the app for about 5-months. Players have been very pleased with the results. It works great with some minor tweaking. Using a 3-star rating, I’ve rated each player. Defensive players I give a 1-3 star & offensive players I give a 7-10 star. But occasionally, I’ll have to switch players because the defense/offense balance is off. My one recommendation is to add an offense/defense selection indicator. If an off/def indicator could work along with the star system, I would give the app a 5-star rating.

Star ratings for players seems to have no effect on team creation. I have 32 players (16 three star and 16 one star), for 16 teams of two players. The app will regularly put one star players together and three star players together. The teams become unbalanced. Not sure what the point of the star rating is if it just gets ignored when making teams.

This app works wonderfully honestly. It can divide an odd number of people into skill-equal teams as well as make perfectly number-equal teams! I did have a few issues at first but they were quickly resolved by the developers! Thanks for the help!

Just found this app and it’s amazing! It makes things so much easier. The only problem I have is that I can’t randomize the team names. But overall it’s for sure worth it!
