Really bad game in many areas

Hadowolf

Where do I start?! Let’s start with the constant glitches and freezing and force closing. About every tens minutes I experience this on my iPhone XR, total crap. Second the rate up summon system is designed to squeeze money out of players pockets in big scum ways. Not every banner has the same rate up value one banner could be 1.0 and another banner would be 0.7 or something like that. Already tells me that they intend to manipulate what you get in the gacha system. Not to mention other “GOOD” gacha games have it that banners would only have the rate up unit/weapon on that banner or at least a pity system. This game does not! Which is like playing Fate/Go (which I also do not recommend anyone to play) all over again where your pretty much throwing money away at potential units you already have instead of what you actually want. There’s no plausible way to max rank up your SSR as you have to go through the summon system and then hope it’s a duplicate you need for your favorite or most reliable SSR. Again that mean spending $79.99 for just three ten summon sets. Even the “exp tomes” for units move sets becomes more annoying to collect as a move levels up because well.... the experience requirement is FAAAAAR too high. Then there’s elements. Since when does the “Tales of” series characters themselves are element based?! I can understand an unit having something like Phoenix wing which would be a fire element attack but the unit him/herself being an element isn’t fun and just adds an extra layer of frustration when playing the game. This game is a huge flop it doesn’t make me want to keep playing nor does it make me enjoy my experience. I told all my friends to stay far away from this game and I only have one good thing about it which is that the company gave us one more attempt at a “Tales of” mobile game but holy cow this is bad. No thanks Bandai just do to this like y’all did to the last mobile “Tales of” game and shut it down or just keep it in Japan. I have far more fun playing Final Fantasy Dissidia Opera Omnia so I will just stay there.

Good story! Grinding Nightmare!

JesseBlueEyes

I love the story behind the game. With colorful characters that develop well and a great theme interwoven. If you want to play for the story then you will enjoy the humor and wit and depth. I was excited about the release of this game. I’ve played it since day one. But dunh, dunh, dunh! Prepare to rot in grinders hell. Without lots of money and lots of time you will never get ahead in the arena.

All my gleamstones was missed after data transfer.

Amazing

So far, I have absolutely no qualms with this game. It tries to stick as close to the “Tales” niche as much as it can while also offering a fun mobile aspect. It even has Story Skit’s that bring a sense of nostalgia while you get closer to Crestoria’s characters. Well done, dev’s. Please keep it up. I look forward to upcoming events and plans when a Mee console “Tales” is released!!

A true tales story

croma fan 4 lyfe

Unlike the last tales game I played this one seems to bring it back to the tales roots and really feels like a fun group that keeps you engaged

Wished I could have graded this better

so done with the chest timers

First of all, it’s a gorgeous game. Characters and special attacks look great. Gameplay is a tad one-note but still fun, and the amazing story snagged me from the get-go. The summon rates are horrendous, and you need around 12 (yes you read that right) of the same unit for full upgrade. That is a complete turn-off and seems excessively greedy to me. I’ve played a lot of great gachas and always invest some money into them if they’re good. I’m so irritated by the summon rates I can’t see myself playing for much longer, much less putting even a dime into it.

Wish the drop rates are better

NONYA456

The game is fine, the drop rates are mediocre, but the turn base is what makes this game kind of dull. If it played like rays, it would’ve been more enjoyable. KOFAS even, Tales+Turn base= giant no.

Guild Bug & Others

Edawg_

There is a major bug when you try to go to your guild as well as a major bug that is stopping me from progressing past Chapter 2 Stage 3 episode 3 in the Story Mode. But, besides that the game is Amazing so far I love it and would like to continue in the story please fix these things AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Good tales game but...

I am a Tales fan and was excited for this game. I’ve been playing it since it came out. It has had quite a few bugs which seem to be slowly being resolved. The graphics are very iffy depending on the device you are using. I started on one ipad were the graphics were sharp and honestly awesome. I upgraded to a newer ipad only to find that now all the 3d characters are hazy as if the game thinks the new ipad is slower than the old which is definitely not the case. I tried contacting their support and I will say for others DO NOT BOTHER. They are the worst script monkeys for support I have ever seen. They can only offer reinstall and reboot suggestions even if both failed before. Overall it is a great game with horrible support.
