You need to hold the button to turn it on but if you lose your keys you obviously can't hold the button.

Taking it back! Has ring tones that are loud when you try them out yet don’t work when you try the device and the device is so quite you have to be two feet away to hear the faint beep! It’s ridiculous they even sell this! If I lost my keys even in my living room I wouldn’t be able to find them with such a light beep! I bought it at Ross! Makes sense as it has many poor reviews! Can’t stand companies that sell crap like this! Don’t waste your time or money on this!

I’ve read the directions carefully and was able to get everything up and running but: 1. The alarm on the tag-it is so quite no on will ever be able to hear it. 2. I set up the alarm for 60 feet and it went off right next to me. 3. In reset it all again for 60 out on my dogs collar and as soon as he rounded the edge of the house (6-7 feet) the alarm went off. This part of the device does not work properly and is just made to sell.. maybe to 4 year olds? That’s the age group Listed when you get the app. 5. I was going to try and use it to locate my home but now I can’t get them to sync. So if you want to donate some money do it to a loved one, not anyone in China. This is going on the trash. Sigh Money Getters!

I can't get my tag it to connect to my Bluetooth, it won't register. Anybody know what to do??

I think the app needs a radar feature. Anyway to keep this app going will ensure the tag its success. A fan.

Tells me Bluetooth isn't on, but it is. Restarted app, doesn't work. Taking it back to the store.

I've had three of these devices for about a week. I can tell you they were rather difficult to get a pair with my phone in the first place. The beep sound The tags produce is so low you got to stick it right on your ear to hear it! The lights flash red but if the tag is laying upside down you'll never see it. The map options are totally bogus. There is a lost history map that are supposed to put a pin when you've lost one of your tags. This is happened several times when my phone was out of communication with the tag but it never dropped a pin, and it's never showed a lossed location. If the app is backgrounding, still in the app switcher, I can guarantee you The app will quit functioning and won't see the tags anymore, which is probably why it never saw it lose contact with them. Good idea but really not implemented well at all. I would not rely on these things anymore I want to search for another alternative.

This app only works while used in the foreground with iOS 8.#. It does not work in the background. So, you will not get notified on your phone if you leave your keys and your app is in the background. This app doesn't have a basic radar feature. I was surprised I could record a location on a map, take a picture, and record audio (after making a setting change). The beep is quiet, but can only hear up to 30 feet away. If this app is improved, I will change my rating.
