”Refreshing to see an approach that differs from the redesigns everyone one else has” - VentureBeat
Swingmail has been featured as a top Productivity and Mailbox app by the US Apple App Store. Named best new app on the App Store in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
”This app manages all of my emails, prioritizing them based on how frequently I email certain contacts” - Jeanine Swatton in iPhone Life Magazine.
Swingmail Features:
1. All in One Inbox
Swingmail consolidates communication on, Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Twitter, phone & FaceTime, from the same person into single threads. It uses a friendly chat format UI.
2. Stay Focused
Swingmail filters out junk, spam, and messages that don't require your immediate attention. You’ll only receive messages from people with whom you’ve been exchanging messages. So, you no longer have to figure out the priorities of each message. Swingmail does that for you.
3. It's Only a Swipe Away
Using Swingmail is fast and easy. Swipe the message left to reply, and right to make a call. Swingmail’s minimalistic UI design saves you time.
4. All in One App
Swingmail has a contacts list and a calendar embedded. It consolidates contacts and calendars, for both Gmail and iCloud.
5. Situationally sensitive
By using users location and schedule from calendars, Swingmail reprioritizes contacts based on location, time and schedule.
6. Adaptive
Swingmail has an experimental grouping function. It learns from communication patterns to automatically generate contact groups. We hope to eventually refine this, to give users group suggestions, for different purposes or in different situations.
Apple Watch
Swingmail is now available on Apple watch. With easy to use features like quick reply, and message summary in a Glance.
Swingmail is developed by Japanese start-up BHI Inc. The company aims to offer an alternative lifestyle amid accelerating information overload, fragmentation, and clutter. In an age where “efficiency” is defined as doing more in a limited time, this project designs efficiency experiences around simply “doing less”. “Efficiency” is defined in terms of “less”, not “more”, because at the end of the day humans can only do so much in a lifetime.
Download Swingmail now to manage information overload on mobile!
* Users of older versions (prior to ver 4) must update Swingmail and login again.
* Only Apple Watch OS2 is supported at this time.

Great concept. Aesthetically pleasing. But why can't I delete emails? You are only able to mute a contact, which I find no reason to do. Also, when you do click on an email, it only brings up the HTML version and you have to click on more details to get to the real email. Kind of annoying. I don't want to view a bunch of links first! Like someone else said, would be great if you could add attachments. So all in all, this isn't very efficient for the average business/working person. CloudMagic is way better. I just really liked the visual of this one.
Need to add the ability to delete emails. I'll be back once that's in place. Overall nice UI.
The interface moves in bursts. Not smooth at all. It just makes me nervous.
I have tried a ton of email clients out there. Some are ok and some are truly great. The one common thing is they are all intuitive and very easy to use to help us to stay productive. This is one of the nicest interfaces out there but it is hard to use. Email that is HARD TO USE. Makes absolutely no sense to complicate email. When a power user can't figure out how to reply to an email is bad. Very bad. Needs a lot of work to make this user friendly as email should be.
The interface of this app drew me in. It has a clean and minimal look and uses the iOS 10 design. So far everything's great, until you open the app. You can delete your emails or put them in specific folders. The app crashes more than it should. I feel like they wanted to simplify email, but simplified it too much. While this app could be great, it's just not there yet.
Cannot add any extra email accounts to this email client. Keeps telling me my password to wrong when I know they are correct. Had to delete.
