Downloaded the free version about a year and a half ago. This is simply the best password manager I’ve found for iOS. Upgraded to the fully paid version recently, and it is totally worth the money!

This is the best iOS has to offer. It’s a little more DIY than most other password managers, but it’s def the most secure. Bitwarden is the other “best” recommendation if you’d like something cloud-based. Don’t use lastpass, 1password, etc.

Two stars, would be five stars if they added one thing…

Would switch over entirely from Enpass, 1Password, and Bitwarden if there was some reasonable, workable method of importing passwords from these other programs. I very tech savvy and tried the suggested workaround and it doesn’t work. These other programs have such a standard import feature. Add this and definitely five stars!

But I bought a lifetime subscription for this one. I’ve been using KeePass for as long as it has been out and Strongbox has been my go to for KeePass on the iPhone for a long time. It is, by far, the most fully featured KeePass management tool I’ve used on iOS devices (and I’ve installed and used dozens of not 100+ over the years). Strongbox is also much more actively developed and the developer is incredibly responsive to questions, bugs and issues. The only thing I could wish for is the ability to use the Synology Drive sync’d version of the database instead of WebDAV. That, however, is an iOS and Synology issue and at least Strongbox has provided a workaround. Again, this isn’t a fault of Strongbox, it’s an iOS fault. In short, not only is Strongbox worth using, it’s worth paying for and in my case that is saying a LOT.

Needs more app icons

SFTP sync does not work

I set up a database syncing over SFTP. The first time I added a new password, it prompted me to “switch to the main app” to sync it. When I went to the main app the password was gone. I eventually found and recovered it from a back up. When I tried this process three more times, strongbox lost passwords again, and only successfully synced once. At one point the autofill menu told me it crashed due to too much memory. A password manager that doesn’t save your passwords is no password manager at all.

As I was looking for a app that can I can use to keep my passwords saved, I came across this app. Strongbox is a good app that can randomly generate a password for you. Allows you to store it on iCloud so your other device can have access and can create multiple databases

Super cool password manager

I have been using KeePass for years. I had tested and used lots of mobile KeePass file readers and writers. This is the best app I had. I totally recommend it! Keep the great work!
