Cute, but prices are unrealistic

I really wanted to get this for my daughter. She plays the free mode a lot and loves it. I thought maybe I'd surprise her with buying the recipes, etc, but it's unrealistic to pay so much for an app. Maybe if I was about to take her on a long plane ride and I got this instead if a digital download. But just for home it's just too much. $20 or more for one app is ridiculous to me unless it's a game that can progress and add levels, or an assistive app which we have for our nonverbal son. I do appreciate his app, unfortunately it's for not worth $20 to me to unlock everything.

My daughter thoroughly loves this game! We purchased the whole package (minus the cooking tools), and she loves it (and doesn't miss the cooking tools one bit). It's easy enough that my three, almost four, year old can play with ease, but challenging enough to keep her interest by having to add specific ingredients to fill the orders. She LOVES it!

I refuse to pay $14.99 to unlock everything but the tools and then turn around and pay 6.99 for the tool. It's not worth it by no means.

I got this game for my daughter and was so disappointed when she handed me the phone bc more money had to be used to buy equipment. It's ridiculous and a rip off! If I could go back I'd keep the demo bc things are still locked! RIP OFF!!!
Can't earn stars/move levels without purchasing

The app is so cute but you can't go beyond the first 2 stars (and therefore not move up levels) without purchasing something. You should be able to play long enough or do other things to level up, not have to make a 4.99 purchase.

It's a super expensive app when you buy the whole enchilada (which you will absolutely want to after 5 min) but honestly we get our money's worth! My daughter is obsessed and loves to play this over and over and over again.
Basically costs 15 dollars
