Players must catch streams of brightly colored gems, as they flow down the conveyor deck before falling into the pit and being destroyed. Paddles will only hold five gems, so act quickly to match three or more gems on your rack and create Burst patterns to score! Bursts are formed by matching rows – horizontal, vertical, or diagonal – of the same color.
Ultimate Star*Burst match-makers can build a large “X” with 5 gems for each diagonal and warp ahead 45 levels! Can you find the elusive Pegacorn?

Pretty fun way to kill some time. Just in time for the holidays too. I'm not too sure about the hamster though. I think I'd like two of whatever those Super Happy Fun Fun guys are taking.

Copulsive it is! I can hardly put this one down. Thankfully the levels are short and sweet, making it perfect for getting some gem action in quick little bites. Love the soundtrack too!

For those considering this, a couple of comments: 1) You can listen to your own music with in game sound effects. 2) It saves your game state when you exit. 3) It doesn't connect to an online system like openFeint, but it has a bunch of achievements for you to earn. 4) Its the first game I have seen with both an option to post to facebook, and an option to turn off asking you if you want to post to facebook. 5) Controls are very well implemented. 6) It plays almost exactly like Klax on the Lynx, which means that it is great fun. Highly recommended.

The team at SHFF worked hard to deliver cool 3D graphics, great audio , card collecting and FaceBook acheivement postings. If you are a fan of Klax, which I created for Atari Games in the 90's, I am sure you will love Star*Burst. Enjoy!

Very tough but fun. How do you get some of those more difficult cards because when you match 3 or more they disappear and there's ones with multiple levels of 5 across? Seems like theres no way to do it. I feel stupid.

I saw this and remembered Klax, so I picked it up. It's loads of fun and hard to put down. My only complaint is that at faster paces it's difficult to place blocks in the right position and move the paddle immediately after. Otherwise a great game.

I absolutely love this game! It is so addicting! It is a cross between Tetris and the old-school Nintendo game Arkanoid, and Bejeweled. These colored gems fall and you have to shoot them up and line them up so you can match at least three in a row. Now that may seem easy, but then they start coming faster and the colors stop lining up right and you start to get nervous! It is such an awesome puzzle game and I have tried out quite a few. I would highly recommend checking out this puzzle app Star*Burst if you are bored with your games, looking for a challenge, or just love puzzles! You can even earn Fantasy Cards (nothing special) that you can share and trade on Facebook! I love that I can play this game and resume at any time, since I mainly play my iPod Touch when I am in line, before bed, or any spare minutes the kids give me! It is challenging and I have yet to become bored with it! It is easy to slide the board back and forth or just tap to where you want it to move. Now I have never played Klax, which the owner also created, but I am happy with this game!
