Was having formatiing issues with other apps, mostly in Excel when it came to the active print area of the spreadsheet. This app handled it beautifully!
This app seems to work as specified. I tested by converting a Word doc attached in an email from my Exchange inbox. Very simple and clean interface. Great to know there's a way to convert docs into PDFs without requiring Adobe Acrobat Professional!
I use Good Reader to take my notes, but most teachers give us powerpoint presentations and most note taking functions are only available in pdf. Usually I convert on my pc and transfer, but once in a while I forget transfer the right powerpoint and am left without notes. Suffice it to say I have downloaded a half dozen of these apps hoping to find one that would let me do the conversion on the go. None of them worked for one reason or another up until now. This worked great, doesn't demand money, and I had my lecture in the pdf format I desired in minutes.
It is slower than pdf converter but does a perfect conversion of powerpoint slides unlike pdf conveter so well worth the wait. Use to convert powerpoints to pdf for class, then I use pdf expert to write in notes etc.
The integration with Safari and its ease of use make this app a winner (and the price can't be beat!).
Open text file. Choose this app. Churns and churns. PDF produced. Open it in another app. Limited to that function. Good.
Has been "converting" a 21 pages ppt to PDF all class long and still not done.
I tried to convert a file using all the options they listed none of them worked. There's no instructions to follow if the converter does not automatically start... I'm uninstalling!
