This is so frustrating, I can’t upload photos from my camera to my device! What happened to this app?!

Another WMU, this is another app that fails to do anything. I’m trying to connect to my D850 using iPhone 12 Pro, 2 flagship devices with large user bases that aren’t able to work. The app will just bring up a status wheel that says ‘Connecting to Camera’ and then freeze. Useless.

Worked when I first got it but now I can not open the app on my iOS device. When I click to open, it shows the title page and then blacks out and closes. I am having difficulty navigating either Apple or Nikon websites and links from App Store to report the issue.

All of a sudden, no no apparent reason, whenever I turn my camera on the SnapBridge app opens in my phone. This is quite annoying and there’s no setting to stop this behavior. Other than this odd quirk that just started happening for no apparent reason, I’ve had good luck with the SnapBridge app. I only use the app for syncing the time and location data with my camera. Some improvements: - Why why why can we only auto sync 2MP photos to our phone? Because syncing a 24MP photo would be slow? Who cares if it’s slow… give me the option. I would love to be able to have a wireless backup to my phone for added security…. 2MP photos are useless. Yes, I know I can manually transfer original sized photos…. manually. This doesn’t help me when I’m at a paid gig, I just want to automatically backup original sized photos to my phone, automatically. And the feature is there….. just for 2MP photos???? Come on! Why? - I tried to control the camera remotely and do some bird photography. So I set my Z 6ii on a tripod, pointed it to a birdhouse, connected the app to control wirelessly. All works if you’re within like 10 feet. I was hoping it would work at a longer (but still reasonable) distance so I wouldn’t scare the birds. I can’t even set my camera on one side of my yard and sit on the deck about 30 yards away… connection doesn’t work. Z6ii and iPhone Pro 13. I also tried it with the iPad Pro M1 thinking it was a phone antenna issue… nope. The range is terrible. - Again, why 2MP photos for auto sync??? Who came up with that? Who at Nikon felt it was useful for photographers to automatically and wirelessly backup 2MP photos to their phone?? Answer from Nikon-transfer speeds are slow and it would drain battery….. So what, I’ll buy a 2nd battery in order to have wireless backups happen automatically as I shoot. - Two megapixels??? Useless.

Just got a new Z5 and have tried 5x to pair my camera to my iPhone 12 Pro and doesn’t work. The app instructions are not even what shows up on my screen. I’m definitely not tech clumsy. It’s like almost 2022 now—connecting a device via Bluetooth should basically be effortless especially using a companies proprietary app with a brand new product.

Doesn’t work with New IOS updates.

Ever since I updated my phone to the new IOS 15 the app has suddenly been unable to connect to my camera and receive pictures. I have tried numerous things and haven’t had any luck. Please fix this!

This camera will not connect to iPhone 11 - by Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It just disconnects or will not find camera. Thus the 1 star. Camera works great snd takes great pictures but wireless connections does not work snd will not download to other devices.

I have a Nikon P1000 and I can’t pair it to my phone. I’ve read all the troubleshooting and nothing has worked. Extremely annoyed… please fix this piece of crap app.
