Widgets are inconsistent in iOS. I often get unable, or the widget simply disappears. Sometimes, it changes to voice assistant widget, which is useless. The words under each "button" are cut off too. Just horrible UI/UX. I've even emailed to ask about the problem and of course they only tell you to uninstall/reinstall the app. I've tried that, but still inconsistent. I even sent a video, but no change.
Clearly the most user UNfriendly app I’ve encountered recently. Lots of bugs. I’ve tried to set this up on my home Wi-Fi net since it arrived three days ago. No joy. Their solutions are always designed to tell the user of his/her hardware or software issues rather than giving the user an actual solution. The heater I bought seems to work and connectivity isn’t critical so I may keep the device. Then again, I may just pack everything up and look for a more technologically reliable product.
Have one of the Smartcamera got it about 2 years ago video feeds works most of the day then randomly cuts off unless you hit the refresh button or restart the app its kind lf annoying if you need it to be 24/7 will test another micro sd card to make sure its not that !!
This is so easy to set up. We use it on our aquarium so we can have lights come on a certain times. It also like that it works with Alexa.
This app is one that clearly isn’t used by its developers & one where developers couldn’t care less about user feedback. Users are forced to view devices either in groups or by the last added first. There are NO sort options, like A-Z or most frequently used. No favourites either, though I guess you could create a “Favourites Room” & add it there. But then again, users can’t sort rooms either, they’re sorted by first created. Finally, NEVER, I mean NEVER, give it your address or you’ll have garbage weather conditions/forecasts forced on you that dramatically slow down the app in low-bandwidth situations, like where there’s only 1 bar of cellular service, & there’s NO way to turn it off. The developers even had the clueless, arrogant audacity to recommend I create a new home & move all my smart devices there, except I have almost 100 & as difficult as some are to pair, it would take me a week to do this when it would take them 5 minutes to code an option to turn off weather forecasts that I can’t imagine anyone ever asked for.
For starters. Oh his app is asking for far to much personal date just to connect light. There is no need to my precise location let alone my location at all just to discover my WiFi. Totally in necessary. Not to mention access to my contacts?!?!! If that wasn’t orating enough. The lights will only connect to a 2.4 ghz WiFi connection. So there is some additional configuration need to even work on a modern WiFi router. No thanks. 2 stars because the lights themselves are nice enough. The software to control them is the issue.
I wished we could arrange several heaters in a virtual room and set the temperature for the room, not for each individual heater. Also, wished the temperature setting would be more easy to use, not just an - and + signs to change temperature by 1 degree at a time. Works. But very primitive interface.
