It works like magic! Either write a text or send a captioned snap, set a timer for it and then sling it over to one or more friends who have 1-20 seconds to view it. When the timer hits 0, the message self-destructs and the evidence is gone!
Slingshot is ideal for sharing embarrassing confessions, snaps and selfies you don't want being put in front of the wrong eyes or appearing on the Internet for all to see.
Slingshot is an insanely great application for teens and adults alike, and gives you a new way of staying in touch and the ultimate protection from getting caught out.
Hide the evidence completely and download Slingshot!

Insecure, don’t give this app any private information. Google “puff, puff, pass puff chat app” and you’ll see what I mean.
Sadly this is not a great alternative to other vanishing message apps. It's buggy and insecure.
apparently there are huge security issues with this app: it doesn't delete messages after they're read, and those messages are publicly viewable. on top of that, when the developer was informed, he ignored it. and when the news got out that his app is a huge security risk, instead of fixing it, he threatened the guy that tried to tell him about it in the first place. I'd stay far away from this app and any others from this dev.
Another pseudo-safe picture app. This app is plagued with so many security flaws none of us could list them in one review. If you value your privacy you will not download this app. You'd be better off sending your pictures via pigeon messenger. This may just be the worst app ever. Images aren’t actually deleted when Puffchat claims. Images remain on Puffchat’s servers, and it’s just the Puffchat smartphone app that declines to show the image. If you know the URL for the image, you can still view it.
Same reason as the other reviews, but also the CEO just recently had both his Twitter account and website hacked. It's worth considering that, even if this company manages to fix this application, do you really want to entrust your security needs to a guy who can't even manage his own personal accounts responsibly?
I can sign up and everything and make a pic message but i cant add contacts !!! Pls help
This will never replace frankly that was so much better ? now it's gone.
