Whenever I’m like “what is that?” while I’m looking at the stars or I want to deliberately find something like the space station, I actually can! :D
Beautiful and Ridiculously Expensive

This is hands down the most visually appealing and realistic astronomy app. Why don’t you guys make a solar system simulation? You’ve got all the planetary models and amazing graphics (lens flares and all). Gripes: making the upgraded versions $20 and $40 per year subscriptions with no option for a one time purchase is just ridiculous. You can buy Space Engine on Steam for $25 and keep it forever. Also, here’s a big problem: I was charged $5.99 for a “free trial” of the Pro version. I clicked the button that said “Try free for 2 weeks,” then I got a PayPal notification saying I was charged for a month subscription.

Nice app, good content and navigates friendly. I only suggest one feature. As I favorites most objects through out the year and get familiar with them every season. I wish there is a way to turn on or show your “favorites” list on the map, preference. Instead of going through the list and knowing where they are for the night. I could just point to the sky and see all my favorites where they are now and how long I can stargaze or image and object. To see this list in AR mode and check time and date, would really plan out the night or future nights for imaging. Especially if your have obstacles in the way, trees and two story neighbors. Pro subscriber here.

I love this app - I’ve had it for years! For most of that time I would have given 5 stars without hesitation, but we are almost 2 years since Home Screen widgets have been introduced to iOS and Sky Guide still does not support. What gives??

It’s so cool and informative! I love to lay out and use it to stargaze in my backyard. Very extensive in it’s catalogue too!
