The app is wonderful. However I suggest that Signal could be better if they allowed for customers to see who screen shoots a message. That functionality would make everything super great.
Private contact list

Signal should have its own rudimentary editable contact list that does not require access to the phone’s native contact app. One that is password secured would be even nicer.

Starting to hate this app
I really like and appreciate this app, the encryption is great and the features are nice. Suggestion: can we get a dark theme?
Some kinks to work out...

I don’t need the app to tell me “New Message!” and then in a separate alert give me the same notification with the actual message. Also, I don’t need a notification when I myself am the one who sent the message to the group. C’mon, guys... this shouldn’t be a difficult fix. Please work out these silly notification problems.

Hi I like this app but never let me chose more pictures once! I like it but people didn’t know this app very much! I like it but ur design very simple I like it because it’s Safe and this issue is very important ? Please adv for this app till people know more about this app and ability of it.
Great app, one suggestion

PLEASE add a lock screen feature, for mobile and desktop. I want to be able to lock my app after a specified time period and have to enter a pin or fingerprint to get back in. In a secure messaging app that is essential to be able to keep prying eyes out. For example when I let people use my computer, I usually have signal open 24/7 and they could just open it up and look at my messages. I would love for it to lock whenever i am away for a time.
