Don’t even look around, just stop and download this now! It’s used by professionals who demand privacy, and recommended by those in the know.

Very, very happy with Signal after using many different messenger apps, BUT I chat using my iPad and iPhone about 50/50. PLEASE add multi-device capability and I will love and endorse Signal 100%!!!

Absolutely love the app and service. Best app for end-to-end encrypted chat. But... why no share sheet extension? I'm dying for a share sheet extension ? I can't replace Messages with this without one :( I don't wanna copy and paste links constantly like an animal.

The only thing I wish is they have recall the message, you know how much typo and how fast we send out the messages. If it has options of recall and delete sent messages would be perfect like WeChat.

Have been able to text my son while he was in France for school. Messages delivered promptly. Would recommend to anyone needing an app not wanting to go thru usual cellphone provider.

There are a few small but important things that should’ve been no-brainers right from the start, and while I do think this is absolutely the best private secure messenger of its kind, I do not particularly enjoy using it because.... I almost never hear it. The default notification sound is subtle, and there is no way whatsoever to set your own tone. Fix that and I’ll fix my rating. Other things that would be nice: the ability to see when someone is typing a reply, large emoji without the text bubble backgrounds, fingerprint and/or passcode app locking and the ability to export media and conversations. Get all this in order and you’ll have a pretty well rounded user experience.

Can't say enough good about this app. Love it. iPhone = 5 stars. I'd give the Mac desktop 3.5 stars though, because it's just a Chrome extension that is a little buggy, requiring a restart it two nearly every day. Telegram had a terrific desktop app, but I prefer the Signal system far more, particularly how you can sync your keys so that an encrypted chat with someone can be read from either device. I also prefer that Signal is always encrypted, no other option. I can't think of why I'd want another option. So, overall, Signal is THE choice. I just wish they'd develop a better Mac Desktop solution.

Love it. Recommending it to all friends I need to communicate privately with. But why on earth does it not have password and Touch ID access? Glaring deficiency. Please guys, very important that you include it. Without it it's hard to consider it truly secure.
