Issue with notifications stopping

I love signal, but recently my push notifications have been really spotty. For some reason the app will just stop providing them, and re-registering for push notifications doesn’t do the trick.

I have sent so many emails and debugs logs. And no response at all. That's how a company wants to start ? By ignoring customers ? I have mentioned this so many times now. It's getting useless to even type a review. Each update is released i come to see if the issue is fixed. But no. It's not. I have sent 7 emails regarding this. Last response was" " you may see a fix for this bug included in the release notes for future versions of signal". That was in 5.21.0 Now it's 5.26.9 Like how much longer? That was 21 updates ago. I have reached out in October 2021 by the way, now it’s January of 2022. Like are you really going to keep ignoring your customers ?

When Elon Musk gave you guys a shout out, you were set to be the go to for people who wanted their privacy. Wanted a escape from prying eyes and potential hackers. But now you have sold out. When will there be a platform that won’t follow suit along with everyone else’s agenda? Has high hopes with you. But money as always takes precedence over all. I understand. Everyone needs $. And unfortunately it’s the meaning of life for for the whole world. Unfortunately most people are stuck in a vicious circle chasing worthless pieces of colored paper to give to the people who already have most of it anyway. I wish I had the answers to the conundrum. But I guess if I had the answer I would be rich. Oh the Irony. Ads mean back doors for potential unsavory individuals.

donated supporter, but honestly, the latest update got rid of the ability to manage storage on iphone which is a pretty big deal breaker. also, the call feature has never once rung for me, i’ve tried everything. i am guaranteed to miss calls, even when i’m staring at my phone. it’s pretty infuriating. will update this review when they get their act together.
