Maybe if it allowed you to enter custom words... but even with that $5 is a little steep for such a basic interface. The “hard” words are not 2nd grade level.
Incomplete words

This app leaves the letters off of longer words. For example, it gave the word "brother" audibly, but had left off the "er" at the end on the screen, making the word "broth". It then spelled the word "brother" correctly audibly, but left of the "er" as it added each letter to the screen visually. Useless with these types of errors; worse than useless actually, since it would reinforce mistakes & create confusion for the child.

Annoying voice. During word shooting activity they show the target word, so the student doesn't really have to guess.

Love the games but we aren't getting the most out of it because the sound isn't working. Would love to upgrade but I want this to work first!

While the graphics are not as clean and appealing as others, I like how you interact more with the sight words than in some other apps. I don't want to sound like a prude, here. But why have the kids shooting a gun at the word? Seems more violent than necessary. I like my shoot 'em up games as much as the next person... But not for my PreK children. I would have given five stars if that were more kids friendly.

Just updated and sound no longer works. Boomer!! My little one really liked this one. I'm giving 1 star because it's unplayable. :-(.
