Terrible app
kateart

There is only one sound, so you're not hearing the note. This is not a trainer but a test and ones skills can't improve through this app.

I can READ

I love this app! I'm 62 years old, I have sung in church choirs for 50 years and have never been able to name the note(s) I was having difficulty getting right. Now this app has finally taught me the names of the notes. Thank you very much.

I can read!

Finally getting around to learning to read. This app is a great tool for just that.

Good App - With a Couple Caveats
SaymanTheFirst

I use this app all the time, and I personally find it very useful for sight-read training. However, I have two gripes: 1. The algorithm to randomize the notes selections seems to pick the notes at the extreme of the octaves fairly rarely in comparison to the rest - i.e., the high Eb or low E- so I find that my expertise becomes limited to the range of notes within the middle. 2. I purchased a version of this app previously, but it stopped working in the latest OS, and I could not find any support on the vendor's site, so I was forced to pay $4.99 again for the same app in a newer version. This is obviously not a shortcoming of this particular app version, but it still rankles. Other than that, I am satisfied with this app.
