I can read manga on my iphone 8s. No zoom, full page, crystal clear. Downloads work. The interface is pretty slick. Organizing this much content is a tall task. They push new content over old content, but if you want to explore the history of Shonen Jump’s manga, it’s easy enough to do. Plus it’s only two bucks a month. (Minor gripe: no Hunter X Hunter)

It’s great that I’m able to access a lot of manga, but at the end of every chapter I find it annoying that I have to exit that page and select the next chapter. I wish I could simple just swipe onto the next chapter.

So to begin, I live Shonen Juno always have, I grew up on Shonen jump and it helped me become the artist I am today. Downloading the app nowhere equals the satisfying feeling the the paper thick physical copy of Shonen but hey save paper saves the planet. I’ve been able to read so many manga, discover new mangas and draw to my hearts desire(almost). So let’s dive into the flaws. One the do not have all the Shonen jump mangas, for me the main missing manga and one of my favorites, shaman king, this struck me hard because I love shaman king, of course I won’t take away a star for missing mangas because they still have a lot. The main reason I took away a star is because some of their mangas are missing chapters and it’s a gap. I have a subscription and I’m reading demon slayer and I get done with 61, I’m fully enveloped into the chapter in The manga, and as I’m swiping to go to 62 it takes my to 139, 1 3 9. Now I can’t continue on because they literally skipped from 61 -139 that’s 78!!!!! Chapters, 78 missing. Like how , why. That’s like watching a three hour movie and the take out 1 hr and 30 min, and right in the middle of an epic battle. That’s why I say 4 stars. Shonen if you fix anything please fix this and if you really love me and your readers add shaman king, but that’s just a dream ?

The interface is amazingly clean and easy to use. They let you read up to chapter three and most recent chapters of every manga on the app for completely free. The subscription fee is only $1.99 a month which is incredibly cheap for the amount of content you get. For the $1.99 a month you spend you can read literally any series and any chapter n the site including the most recent chapters released! Volumes cost more than double that for a single volume, but for $1.99 a month you can read 100’s to thousands of volumes. It almost seems unfair for them to give us all of that for such a small cost. My favorite app in the App Store I’d give it 10 stars if I could. P.S. The app DOES tell you what chapter you left off on when you select a manga. Those reviews are either old or they didn’t notice?

I read manga before I got this app, but it was hard due to limited accessibility, so I mostly waited for anime to come out, reading a series periodically. Then when I got this app, everything changed, I’m always reading something, it’s easy to use, organized, etc.
