Great except for the fact if you forget your code your just locked out no way to get back in period

I have had this app for years with no complaints. One day I attempted to access data stored in the app but the app would not open. The app launched then immediately closes. There is no update for the app. I have tried multiple attempts to open with complete failure. I don’t want to delete the app and risk the little hope I have to recover all the data. I have reached out to development with no response back. ?? I can have resolve.
