Versatile

tenacities

You can tell the app was designed with real-world businesses in mind. Being able to quickly and easily apply discounts, create gift cards, scan using bar codes is just few of many features that make this app my mobile payments app for my business.

Always Up To Date

Hapiapps

I really enjoyed this service. My favorite things about this is that it updates all of my devices so everyone is always up to date and it makes it very easy to manage sales. I especially like real time reports and the ability to quickly change prices!

Keep improving it.

I feel like this app is still in beta form and has quite a few bugs or things that aren't as well thought out as they need to be. I always root for the underdog and so I have high hopes that they'll continue to improve this app in future releases. This being said, in it's current release it might occasionally put you in a compromising situation with your customers. I don't have confidence in this app that it's actually doing what it's supposed to. I'm always having to double check everything and that can lead to the customer not trusting it either. Some simple improvements would include the ability to have a confirmation email sent to yourself as well as the customer all in one step. You need the ability to delete products in the event you make a mistake when entering information in your original setup. Currently, you have to give it a new name and later on that causes lots of confusion in many other areas once this happens. Every time the app hangs on you, you need to trash the app and reload it. When you do that you need to give your device a new name. This happened almost daily for the first week and we actually haven't been using it much recently so I'm not sure if it will continue or not. The result is you go from (example) Jenny's iPad to Jenn's iPad, Jen's iPad, JJ's Pad, etc, etc. It gets old fast. We started just calling it (example) Jenny's iPad1, Jenny's iPad2, etc. and by adding the number after it we'll be able to track how many times we had to reload the software. I could go on and and on about all of the cool things they could do to make this a big boy app, but for now it's pretty basic with some fundamental issues to be worked on before it's ready for prime time. I do like it and I'm hopeful they'll have the resources to improve it. I would prefer to be an "official" beta tester so that I would expect these problems during development, but not after release. Keep working on it!

Nice improvements

Buck1212

SalesVu's new v2.4 release includes nice improvements to the software. Like the new payment screen and larger tip screen. Our business also benefits from using the Recurring Billing and Invoicing features. We don't use gift cards, but I'm sure other businesses will appreciate tracking them along with their cash and checks. Accounting is happy about the connection to Quickbooks.

iPhone 5 support

Please update for full screen usability on iPhone 5.

It's absurd that I have to register to use an app on my phone. Do not bother.

Beware of the false reviews

Hidden Fees

They say 2.7 % what is not true. After you receive the first statement you will notice extra small fees , when you add all the fees you will be paying around 3.1% and I have all my statements to prove this. They say they will return my money etc , after 1 month nothing happen yet. If you want to accept Amex,Amex will be charging around 3.1% per transaction, and on top of that they will charge $7.50 monthly. This guys have no business with the actual credit card processor ,they have an agreement with Mercury payments which is the real credit card processor here within this app. So even when Salesvu promise a 2.7%, you are going To receive an statement from mercury. The app is nice, very limited but nice. If you own a real business like a restaurant invest your money on a real POS. if you have a small farmers market business this will help.

Frustrated

Stylz Company

I have been using Salesvu for a year. I chose to pay extra in fees so I could have a pos system as well as credit all in one. But with the 2.4 version when clients leave a tip under the $$ side it has been turning it into a percent. Example: if someone leaves me 20 dollars it gives me 20 percent or if they give me 5 dollars it gives me 5 percent. Salesvu has been costing me money for over a month, which in turn is costing them money. I refuse to stay with a company that does nothing when I call and email repeatedly with pictures that its doing this and they do nothing. You will lose my business as soon as I find a new app to replace you. Thank you for showing me what kind of business you really are. And FYI I never write reviews, this is how " over this" issue I am.

Not pleased at all

Not gonna do again

I went looking around for an app to use in my iPhone to use credit and debit cards to sell more of my products (self proclaimed jewelry artist) so it's not a business that brings in a lot, I was told that it would take about 24 hours and I'd receive a call about a merchant account. 24 hours later nothing and I was asked to give my ssn, my fault for falling for this. Save urself the trouble, don't give such personal information!!!
