HEALTHKIT
This app can be integrated with the Health app and be used with HealthKit. The total Active Calories burned can be saved to HealthKit after each workout. Sharing this information with HealthKit is optional.

GPS and LOCATION
This app requires an iPhone or iPad with GPS support. During a workout, location data is used to calculate distance and pace, and to record a track of your position on the map. For best results, use this app outside where you can see open sky. Note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Good not great

I've purchased the Run 5k and Run 10k apps. Both have a better user interface and don't require me to run on their schedule. This app is good but not great.

Great App for a 5k runner

This app is very useful to get ready for a half mentally as well as physically .. However this is only if you have a base in running somewhat already.

Good trainer

My wife and I just finished the program and our first half marathon. This program is a good program for training for a half marathon, but you need to be in running shape before using it. You can also kiss your Saturdays goodbye for awhile, as all of your long runs are scheduled for Saturdays. Definitely worth the money.

Disappointed

When I first purchased this app I was happy with it but now that I have been using it for a few weeks it stopped working properly. I finish my run and when I go to save the app shuts off and deletes all my info and I have to manually put in my stats. I hope that this is fixed soon or I will be looking for a new app quickly.

Needs a minor update

I love 'almost' everything about this app except the fact that I cannot hear the voice ques when I'm playing music. So I don't know my distance unless I take my phone out and look which is a pain in the rear to do in the middle of my runs.

Great for my first half!

I trained for my first half marathon with this app and loved it! I liked that it was distance-based and not time-based, and I really enjoyed checking off the days on the map for each run I completed. The only issue I had was that I only received the audio queues sometimes, and you would never really know when they would work or not. My husband and I used the app at the same time and sometimes he would hear it during the run and I wouldn't, or the other way around. Didn't bother me much though since this app had everything I was looking for.

Waste of Money

I have used the 10k app and 5k app from these guys and really enjoyed it.....this app however, not so much. It seems to rely solely on GPS, so those times you need to use the treadmill it's useless. Pretty bummed about this purchase.

Enjoy the visual

I really enjoy this app. I used it to train for my first half marathon and thought the program was really manageable. I enjoy the calendar aspect and I also like the run tracking. It's very accurate and motivating. Also like that it breaks each mile down by pace and elevation. At the end of your run you can see your run. Great app all around. Plan on using it for my next half!!

I the used their 10k and this was a natural progression. This app got me to my first half marathon without pain. I did well and felt great. Hope the developers come out with a full marathon app soon. That's my next goal. Can't wait ! Great suite of apps.

Ran a Half Marathon!

I never thought I'd be able to run 13.1miles but this programme builds up your distance and stamina without overtraining you. Wish they would make a marathon version too! (Highly recommend the 5k and 10k versions for those not ready to conquer a 21k. I've done both of those too in previous years.)
