RSA SecurID two-factor authentication is based on something you have (a software token installed in the RSA SecurID app) and something you know (an RSA SecurID PIN), providing a more reliable level of user authentication than reusable passwords.
After you install the app, you separately import a software token. With the token installed, the app generates one-time passwords (OTPs). You use your PIN and the current OTP to access protected resources, such as your VPN client. You never need to carry a separate hardware token.
RSA SecurID administrators can rapidly and securely deploy software tokens to iOS devices. Users can import a token with one tap or by scanning a QR Code.
Your company must have:
• RSA Authentication Manager or the RSA SecurID Authentication Engine API for software token provisioning and user authentication
• RSA SecurID Software Token seeds

Last update fixed the stupid UI!

Edit: Changed from 1 star to 5. The devs took a look at the shape of their human hands and realized they had created a UI for extraterrestrials. With the last update, this app is once again intended for humans! My previous review: This is a perfect example of software design without user experience testing. We used to be able to enter a passcode and hit enter, all with a single hand. Now after entering the passcode, you have to find the tiniest little ‘submit’ button at the other end of the screen. Very difficult one-handed experience. Hey RSA—this is an easy fix. Give us back a return key on the keypad.

Since the latest update, it reports the device as 'jailbroken', so it wont work anymore.
Reports device is jailbroken, when it is not.

As everyone else pointed out here, it used to work on the M1 chip, complaining it was jailbroken, but wortked. This last release prevents it from working, as it just prompts to mail logs, and nothing else.

I can’t even rate it with stars! I only rated it 1 star because it wouldn’t allow me to post otherwise. Several things are amiss or wasn’t re-added. This update was only made in consideration of those who use more than one token and want to see them on the same screen which was selfish. The UI is really bad, the white background is whack, the pivotal copy/paste function has disappeared (whhyyy would you do that??), the red alert for the countdown timer has vanished, and the list has not been exhausted! Do something about this quickly please!!! I went researching how to undo the update- that’s how bad it is. It would also be professional for the team to acknowledge user complaints… just saying.

Somehow the developers have managed to make this already basic and simple app worse It now takes longer to type out your pin, it’s easier to touch the wrong button after you type in your pin, and the service feels like it’s taken a step into the distant past. Bring back the old interface please!

There’s plenty of room, please go back to a larger font for PIN display. It’s frustrating when something that works fine gets made worse.

Why redesign? Now, have to select the field to enter passcode, tiny numbers, tiny submit (not button). Go back to the functional layout.

It is totally different than the old app icon that users need to relearn recognizing the same which totally wasn’t required. It lacks common sense

The recent “upgrade” is horrible. Why do I have to click into the PIN field now rather than the app just being ready to accept a PIN on launch? Why, once I enter the PIN, do I need to shift hand position and hit a tiny little “submit” button, rather than the “enter” key on the keypad? Why did you take away the 10 second warning? Every change to the interface in this update is a downgrade.
We didn’t remove the copy feature…
