Good, but

Having never played pathfinder I thought I would use this app to help me out. Now with that said I’ve some of the books and figures this would make it easier. Then I started using it and the areas I wanted help with it was lacking. It’s also missing several classes like the Brawler and Bloodranger. So I thought adding them would be simple and it’s relatively easy but then you can’t make your own archetypes. Ok fine. The copy option makes it easier. But then when I went to finalize some ideas, I went to change racial traits and couldn’t do that either. I figured the app would make it easier to keep track of what I had replaced. And it does, by not having that option. Now it does have some traits. And it has pretty much every feat ever, but it’s equipment section seems lacking to me. Overall it’s good but for what I wanted it either doesn’t seem to have what I want or it’s hidden.

Tabaxi and Dragonborn are my favorite races. You haven’t added both of them yet. Also can you please allow us to add pictures to character profile? That would be amazing!

I’ve had this app for awhile and it has become a great tool for me. Had an issue with character weight and the creators were very responsive and put out a patch to help with a few days. The item content can be limited, but it’s easy enough to add your own so even though I’m looking forward to the library being expanded, it’s not problematic. I do really like the layout and leveling with this app is a breeze.

Absolutely essential

Annoyed and disappointed.

As a GM, this app has been EXACTLY what I’ve wanted for helping keep track of tons of custom NPC’s, and they continue to update the database, meaning it keeps getting better! Worth every penny if you need a fast, easy way to keep track of almost any character you make.

The person running this app has answered my groups prayers for a great Pathfinder app. Has almost all the races, classes and items we can want. As a bonus it is also easy to add in custom of whatever you want. If you are looking for a great app for Pathfinder or 3.5 don’t look any farther for you have just found it.

Best character sheet app

I recently switched over to apple and when I found this app it made the switch a god send. There were some apps that “got the job done” but nothing I found was quite as extensive as RPG scribe. The dev team has been constantly updating and improving the app and has been more than helpful in responding to feed back. I just wish that Rlyeh industry would release a massive reference app including all the books similar to Paizo’s but better. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more updates.

Become more powerful than your DM

I recommend this app to everyone. I have a group of friends who likes to play one shot campaigns and they have to make a new character each session. With this app I’m able to create full characters in minutes while completely understanding race traits, skills, feats, and spells by the time it takes them to decide on a class. I discovered a small glitch in a feat and emailed the RPG scribe team, they responded promptly and even noted the change on the apps update notes within a few days. The app is constantly improving and is already infinitely better than pencil and paper. My entire campaign is now run using this app and the resources the app provides makes it easy to become as knowledgeable as the DM. (Well worth purchasing the expansion pack.) I don’t have ties to this company, I’m just a very satisfied customer ⚔️

Great for new and experienced

I’m new to PF and I love this app. Not only is character creation and tracking excellent but it’s great for use as a reference as well. New content is being added all the time. My single complaint is I’d like samurai archetypes to be implemented so I can try a sword saint in my next campaign. :)

Solid & Expanding

RPG Scribe really is an excellent character creation and management utility. It has an intuitive and clean interface and is loaded with an ever-expanding volume of content. It may (currently) be missing a few things like specific hybrid classes and animal companion support, but the hard-working crew at Ryleh Industries are adding new content and functions every month. Their customer support is also very good. Their crew has been quick to respond to any inquiries I have fielded and their answers have been clear and honest. It’s not free, and to unlock the content beyond the Core Rulebook it will cost a little more, but for approximately the price of a Quarter Pounder meal at McDonalds you can get the app AND unlock a vast expanse of expanded content AND all new content that will added in the future. I’d say that’s a pretty good deal. Plus, at present, it’s really the only decent, viable option on the iPhone platform.

Thank you for adding Slayer!!! Getting back into PF after a couple years away and this app’s been a great help. It’s still missing alternate racial and class variants(i.e. Human-raised half-elf, Fiend Flayer Magus, Kinslayer Inquisitor, etc.), but the ability to add to the database yourself and port the DB between devices is easy and is why I’m still rating this 5-stars. Thanks for your hard work and I look forward to further updates!
