Roomi, doesn’t give notifications right away they’re always late! The last person that was my roommate lied and left after a month I’m not happy with the services Roomi gives. You guys gotta do better I need to find someone to take over my room really soon and it hasn’t been going good on Roomi’s part so far.

I already potentially been scammed 3 times and I reported the profiles on the Roomi app NUMEROUS times. No response back and the persons profiles are still active. TERRIBLE APP!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Save features don’t work

I’ve had an incredibly difficult user experience with this app. It’s not worth your time or frustrations. Here’s why — 1) It doesn’t allow users to save their profile on the web app. I tried multiple times to update my information, but the only way to do it was through the mobile app. 2) It doesn’t properly save listings that are ‘favorited’. I just went through 3 hours of browsing apartments to save to my ‘favorites’ for later reach out only to discover that they all disappeared except for 4. After refreshing the page, it went from 4 to 2. There is some incredibly strange stuff going on with the backend infrastructure. Please figure this out before allowing a live version to go up.

This app has been super helpful! Roomi provides a safe way to meet potential roommates. Way better than Craigslist. Also, the customer support is phenomenal! I forget what happened but they fixed it and even gave my listing a free “boost!” I truly appreciate it. Only suggestion is provide a way to organize profiles or at least allow us to pick up where we left off in the search process instead of starting all over at the beginning. And maybe contact users every once in awhile to ask if they want to keep their listing/profile visible. Help weed out those no longer in need. But overall, best way to meet a roommate online!!
Crashing

It keeps crashing. I just downloaded the app and it won’t let me get past the second page. Once I try and type in my location, it freezes.

This app has everything it needs to succeed in place. Unfortunately it is muddled by how glitchy the app is. It crashes frequently, can be hard to navigate and store things, and deletes things you want to save randomly. It one time deleted all of my messages that I had with potential roommates, including one I was having with someone who was on their way to come see the place. Since you can’t search potential roommates by name in the browsing section, and because we never exchanged numbers, I had to stand outside for an hour just to catch them. The two stars maybe too generous.

Messages Are Gone

Roomi is so close to being awesome. But it is very glitchy and deleted all of my messages. I’d been speaking with quite a few potential roommates, but now the conversations are gone. The app still recognizes that a conversation existed, though, so I can’t start a new conversation. When clicking start chat, it brings you back to a blank screen and errors out. When some messages restored, it combined several conversations I’d had with different people which was extremely awkward. The response team just said “your messages should be back now” but they are not. Very glitchy and if you can’t rely on it to communicate with the potential listers or roommates, there’s almost no value in this app.
Great idea, terrible execution

I feel bad because this app/idea are so good Ana yup until two days ago, worked well. That’s when the app and online versions of the site crashes, deleting all of my messages with potential roommates. Now it looks like they’ve disappeared. The support team has been very responsive, but still hasn’t fixed the problem. Once it’s fixed, this is a great idea and way for finding roommates
