Love not having to keep track of paper!
Susan_A_K

I’ve been using a Rocketbook for just over a week. I love how easy it is to scan pages, and the OCR is so much better than OCR results I’ve seen from other applications in the past. I do wish that the OCR would not insert line breaks at the end of each corresponding line on the page, though. It would be really nice to have the text free flowing, so that, should you wish to print, or copy and paste, from the transcription, the text would conform to the margins available on your printed page, or in your word processing app. The scanned pages come out great, though!

App

The app could be so much better, the actual notebook and idea is great!! The app needs more organization freedom. I would like to be able to create notebooks with my scanned notes or folders in the app. Also would like to not HAVE to send my notes, just keeping them in the app or having the option would be nice.

App does not work after first time
A ??

I downloaded this app and it worked when I first signed in, but as soon as I open the app a second time, the app never opens and it automatically returns back to my home screen. Extremely disappointed since I’ve been wanting to use this notebook for years and finally found reason to buy one

Rocketbook makes the difficult quite simple

Rocketbook has helped me keep my notes organized. I’m a techie and as such, I’ve tried every major digital version of note taking, iOS apps, Apple Pencil 1&2, LiveScribe digital pens…. You name it. Everything just didn’t feel natural and I’d end up scraps of paper again as after decades of hard copy note taking and the tangible experience of it, it was my comfort zone. On a whim, a good price on Woot, I decided to try a Rocketbook kit. I was hooked. I could keep my comfortable method of note taking yet still experience the convenience of digitally stored notes. I find it easy to customize templates and using different colored pens I could continue with my tried and true note taking. I also find that when working in the field with clients, writing notes in a normal notebook isn’t obtrusive or distracting to them during meetings. Whenever someone starts using the iPad, inevitably someone thinks that person is zoning out and checking headlines. Rocketbook is easy. It’s economical. It’s convenient. It’s a workflow and organization tool that is transparent to allowing me to implement my classic method into a digital space.

Been great

I have been using my Rocket Book for college, and I love being able to direct my files to the cloud when I scan the pages in. I don’t have the planners or a whiteboard yet but I’ll pick those up as I go along.

Keeps shutting down
Makeup fiend

Used to be a great app, but after the update will shut down when I try to open it

Doesn’t work
student in 9th grade

Scanning takes at least 2 minutes, doesn’t even send to the email I’m trying to send it too. I’ve tried sending multiple times but it just never works. As for taking a picture all it does is flash green and says “position in the box” while I am doing that and the app knows because the green box is on the lines. Just take a picture yourself not worth it

Greatest Modern Day Organization Tool
B4Tyme

I use the Rocketbook Fusion and for me this organization tool is allowing me to be more productive AND creative with my work and my thoughts. Big plus is that this organization tool is tree ‘friendly’! FlexIon pens of different colors can be used to embellish work and thoughts; then there are even FlexIon highlighters to add even more creativity!

Love my rocket book
Britcal24

I absolutely love my rocket book! Only issue I have is I wish it was easier to organize my notes so I can combine them all after they are separately scanned. I tend to scan after each page of notes instead of continuing to write and mass scanning.

Can’t even connect to Google Drive
sarah_bud

This is the most frustrating app I have ever used. When I first got it, I was able to use it without issue and upload my pages to Google Drive folders. However, the app kicked out all my Google folders from my registered destinations. No biggie, I hadn’t used it for awhile and I probably just needed to log in again. I go to do so by doing what the app tells me to do. I click on Change Destination, then select Google Drive. I have multiple Google accounts, so it pulls up all of them. I click on the one I mainly use for Google Drive, and then it takes me to the password screen. But it’s the wrong email address. It’s asking me to enter the password for the email ABOVE the one I had selected. Weird. I hit cancel and try again. I have to select my account multiple times in order for it to register my selection. Finally get to the right password screen. Keyboard is all wonky. Can’t even enter a password. I use the autofill saved passwords function anyways. I click next and nothing happens. I click Next multiple times and still nothing happens. I do this for several minutes, trying everything just to log in to my Google account. Finally somehow manage to get to the next screen. Now I have to give Rocketbook permission. I click Allow. The screen scrolls back up all the way to the top. I click Allow again. Same thing happens. Needless to say, I tried just clicking the stupid Allow button for a solid 5 minutes. Try cancelling and logging in again. Same exact issue. Sometimes it will randomly highlight the text above it, as if I’m selecting a word and trying to highlight it. The problem is, that word is halfway up the screen, nowhere near the button I am trying to push. So I try clicking it REEEEAAALLLY slow. It highlights. But does nothing. The whole concept of the Rocketbook is made pointless by the complete non-functionality of the app. This needs to be fixed ASAP if Rocketbook hopes to actually keep any customers. Do not waste your money on this product. TLDR: When you try to log in with Google, this app won’t even let you click on anything. It is essentially useless until this issue is fixed. I have not tried this with any other cloud service accounts, but if you were hoping to use it with Google, you are out of luck.
