Great auction game

Hogefan

I play this board game about as much as Puerto Rico. It makes a fun, exciting and quick game. The ai is pretty easy, but not too easy that I don't get a challenge out of it. Would love to incorporate gamecenter.

Quick Challenge

Ahlothia

This just replaced Catan as my go to game when I have down time. It's quick and easy to learn but still a challenge. Just needs multiplayer support.

Not bad

Pink Splice

Th AI isn't all that tough, but it is still fun and fast.

Make more!

GibsonGirl87

Great game, make more like it! How about a good Dominion game that works

Quick and smooth

larpro

Short, fun game. Numbers are small and don't stand out. No indication of who opened the bidding or holds the highest bid.

Medici

TheOriginalJwoo

Great game! The only complaint is that the AI could be tougher

Great game but so-so graphics.

Alene

I really enjoy playing this game. While I realize it is based on the board game, I really think the developers should have improved the graphics so that the game is more attractive on the iPad. Would have given 5 stars if graphics were better.

No-regret purchase

frederico1

Very fun Easy to learn And challenging No multi except for local, but honestly, playing the AI at varying player-counts and difficulties gets me turnt up like a Waka Flocka quick eurogame

Math meets monopoly(R)

Peepaw & Noni

This game is similar to the auction process in monopoly(R). The goal is to minimize cost while maximizing the value of the goods you buy. The goods are selected randomly from crates in one to thee lots; here is the twist to the auction process only allows one bid in round robin order. There are bonuses for monopolizing a particular good and also for having the most valuable cargo hold at the end of each round. The winning condition is to have the most money after the third round is finished. This game lacks an Online component, which greatly reduces the replay value of this game. Maybe that is a good thing because it forces people to come together to play in the Internet age, but often the best competition is found online. This major shortcoming makes it hard to play a game with humans that actually challenge you, especially when you are to busy to meet with people for a few games. Worse still, the hardest AI opponent does not present much of a challenge after you finish 20 or so games. Overall, the game is fun with human players, built around an auction process that keeps you thinking. This fun gameplay mechanic is hampered by the lack of online play and poor AI. It's game is a solid 3 1/2 stars (rounded down to 3).

Short and Challenging

RDWL

The perfect game for when you have five to ten minutes. The right amount of skill and chance to make it always challenging.
