Just got the app and tried to watch a free movie with ads. I can’t get past the first ad after the movie starts. It freezes on a blank screen. I restarted. I deleted and reinstalled. Same. So, no point in keeping the app.

Our family loves Redbox because we make movie nights for the down syndrome individuals that live with us. I wish that we would get more coupons to help with the cost but it is something that the whole family loves

After all these years still love me some Redbox and thier rewards and app. Hope it sticks around for another 10 years. I can’t even imagine how many feature films good and bad I’ve rented from the box. Long live the blu ray! :)

I prefer the Redbox App because it makes renting so much easier than standing at the Redbox and getting anxious when someone is waiting for me to finish.

I really hope they never get rid of getting a movie at the Redbox, I realize times are changing but the old fashioned getting a movie and dinner is still important. I have the ability to order at home but there is something about picking up a movie and dinner. Thanks for keeping this going Sincerely Tina from Oregon State

Used a Promo but still billed full amount

Every few months I wonder why I don’t use RedBox much anymore. Then I use RedBox and remember. I used a promo code for $2 off a movie night, but the final receipt I was emailed shows the full rental amount and $0 for promos. Been on hold for 10 minutes because OF COURSE the chat function is ALWAYS DOWN. When Are You Going To Fix The Map In The Phone App?!?! It’s been terrible for years and you admit it! Trying to use the map to search locations within my immediate area is beyond frustrating. When you Zoom by using two fingers the map automatically snaps back to a wide view with several locations stacked on each other once you remove your fingers. If you Zoom by using one finger to double tap it automatically snaps back to a wide view once you use one finger to move the map area. The map is completely useless. They keep telling me they’re aware of the problem and working on it, but nothing ever happens. It has been months. It’s like they don’t know we have other apps with maps that have worked perfectly for ages. The best part is when they screw up they give me a code for a free DVD rental. Problem is I have never, ever, rented a DVD from Redbox, so the gesture is meaningless. It would be great if I could apply that code towards a Blu Ray rental and pay the difference. But apparently that would make way too much sense and as we have already established that is not the purpose of the Redbox App.
