The apps feature, spritz reading, is awesome but the app as a whole is unusable. It loses your place, barely works, isn't integrated into iOS well...

Unspeakably bad
Gv1120001

This app is an abomination. The UI/UX is completely counter-intuitive and never makes any sense once you’ve figured it out. Want to use the service for more than a few minutes? Create an account and login. But that’s fine and hardly out of the ordinary, even if it is buggy and difficult. But do you want to use the Spritz reader itself? Create another account and login - the entire experience is even more buggy. Perhaps you’ve downloaded the app to speed read on a plane? You’re SOL, because you needed to set the Spritz reader to work offline when you still had internet access. The idea that they actually charge a subscription fee for the miseries of using this app is completely malicious.

Not worth much without Premium

Without a Spritz account your speed is limited. I have one. I can’t use my Spritz account without becoming a premium member. Deleting the app from my iPad.

Very limited usability

The premium service shouldn’t be a monthly fee. That’s a major disincentive for me. Also if I am trying out the library and using up the 5 free times I can open a book it shouldn’t timeout and close the book for me.

Awesome app!!

This is a no b.s. app. It works as advertised. Not sure why people are rating it low. I got the lifetime membership and don’t regret it!! Have the ability to read books at a much faster pace.

I have tried five or six readers and this one is my fav. I’m a premium member and use the beeline feature to bomb through book after book. Their help guys are wonderful and quickly answered the minor problems I had.

Spritz integration is great

I paid for the premium, unlimited version and I’ve enjoyed the app, particularly the Spritz integration. I can fly through many books with this feature. I hope the team keeps improving the app and tightening the integration with Spritz.

Brilliant product

Can be occasionally glitchy but they're always working to improve an already terrific app.

Works for my Needs

I add pdf and other type ebooks from various locations. My primary use is for studying. Lifetime Premium holder... works for all of my needs.

I find that ReadMe! Works great!
Haggy6

I have read with surprise the negative reviews of the ReadMe! app since I have used it for several years without having any of the problems others are reporting. When i follow the instructions, I have no trouble getting new books into the library provided they are in the correct format. If you are having trouble losing a book, it is probably because the publisher has protected it from being put into a format, that is compatible with the app to stop you from reading the book anywhere except on their site. You really shouldn't complain just because ReadMe will not help you violate the rules established by the entity you bought the book from. Both Spiritz and BeeLine Reader work well at all times. I had no qualms about becoming a premium member, especially since it permits me to increase the reading speed. The reviews that criticize the app because the developer charges something for it are, I believe, unreasonable. In our capitalist society, we should expect people to be paid when they develop and provide something we want. I think the app is great and so almost all my reading on it.
