READING MAGIC 3 contains three lessons:

-The Blending Mode helps your child learn the essential reading skill of blending, which helps prepare learners for segmenting.

-The Segmenting Mode helps your child learn how to segment words. Segmenting has been recognized as the most important predictor of reading success.

-The Reading Mode helps your child read words. Pictures are hidden to encourage true reading instead of picture guessing.

READING MAGIC 3 focuses on words with two or more syllables.
The apps are categorized into interesting and fun categories.

READING MAGIC 3 has over 300 words to interest your child, and help them learn how to blend, segment, and read words with consonant blends.

READING MAGIC 3 also features both male and female voices for every word and picture.

Please note that there may be many words on this app that are not in the everyday vocabulary of the young learners using this app. Use this as an opportunity to build vocabulary.

In order to give lots of practice to build strong skills with blending, segmenting and reading many words were needed including those that are outside the realm of everyday common words. There is no need to know what the picture is beforehand for blending and reading. For segmenting, the picture can always be touched to identify itself.

A team of educators using accelerated learning techniques and Montessori principles developed this fun app, which your child will enjoy using as they learn. It has been tested and successfully used with preschoolers.

Most recommended educational tool for children and academic staff. Those like reading magic 1 and 2, will definitely like this reading magic 3. This app added more variety of nouns, helps children more aware of their surroundings. Layout still similar to 1, & 2. I suggest add some explanation on those words.

It's a good app for kids. My nephew uses it a lot. He seems to really enjoy it a lot. Easy to use and very intuitive. It's a must try for sure. Could be a little more polished though...

This is an amazing app that is well designed and could actually help your child in learning how to read. The 0.99 price is definitely well worth it, but you'd have to spend some quality time going through this app with your child. The general look and feel of this app could be improved, but functionality wise, this is a solid app.

a good app for kids to learn english reading

a very informative app. a good app for kids to learn the reading of words. this one concentrates on multiple syllables, and there are many words included. but the interface is not very attractive, and I think some words are too complicated for kids. and some pronunciations are a little bit misleading.
