Quib’s designers have created an outstanding single comprehensive creative platform. They have solved some complex problems to bring together multi format items into a secure simple environment. I am very impressed by its robustness and simplicity. In my language Simplicity = power.

Using Quip and going to the support link and instead of being able to simply write a message I'm led to a cryptic web page with weird stuff (orgs, trailblazers, etc.). Go figure!

I’m constantly surprised and delighted by this app. The things that they chose to work on, work flawlessly.

Has become really slow of late. The app is also confusing to navigate, and opts for an Android style navigation which is bad without Android's system back. There are bugs which make you stuck on some pages until app is killed

Updated review as of November 2021: Still a ways to go. The app is not innovating fast enough. Still no support of multiple windows. Keyboard shortcuts are better, but still can’t do something like conduct a search easily. No way to view multiple documents at the same time. For some reason on iOS the document view defaults to comment threads. Glad to see improvements being made, but I know this app can be better! Original review: I thought access to my Sheets on iPadOS with an iPad Pro and Smart Keyboard would be helpful for adding mobility to my productivity with Quip. The reality is, this app is even worse than the web-app counterpart in Safari for working with Sheets. Want to navigate between cells using your keyboard? Nope. Can’t navigate around cells using the arrow keys. This app is wedged between touch screen and type, causing you to go back and forth to get any real inputs/edits done in Sheets. Also, no Dark Mode support. Files app integration doesn’t work natively (it appears as a source, but you can’t browse files using it—a modal window appears with blank results).

Don’t pay for all the bloat of Office when Quip does what you need with tight integration to Salesforce.

Overall great, would be nice to be able to see a separate section for tasks similar to how the Mac desktop app does it. Is that in the roadmap?

App lags like crazy while typing. A full 200ms delay. I sent their CS a fullrun down, and they replied with a canned pre-written response. Migrating to Notion.so.
