Fun!

Mpsai

I've been enjoying this game immensely and I don't usually get into phone games. It's a good one to pick up and play in short bursts. It doesn't waste your time and doesn't push you into microtransactions with ridiculous limits. It's got enough variety to stay interesting with lots of different monsters with different attributes and abilities and dungeons that require different strategies. The puzzle aspect is more dynamic than I expected as well and can be pretty fast paced if you let it.

Best game I have on my phone.

Dgsjcjdhdusyehxfxmtfsyifiley

I have been playing this game on and off for about 3 years now, and never have I found anything more fun. This isn’t one of those games you see everyone playing on their phone to casually pass the time. It requires actual strategy and time investment, and it’s not usually just about which monsters you have, but if you can use them. I recommend this game to anyone whose a fan of the match-3 and RPG genres.

Can you do past events

CrossLancer

I like PAD but here one thing that a hate about mobile games most of them don’t do past events so can you make like a calendar for events that are new and old (Ex like the monster hunter one I miss out on that one)

Hard game, but worth it

I loved this game right away, but it definitely takes a long time to actually be good at it. A long time as in like a couple years. It’s really intelligently done though, and I appreciate that there are always new things being developed!

The puzzle game that reminds me of my childhood

Jrocker105

Great game! I used to play a similar game on the Nintendo ds, it was an adventure rpg type game of similar mechanics, I fully enjoy this game.

Gacha is like gambling

Know when to roll is a key thing with this game. Also compared to Fire Emblem Heroes, this game is stingy in which the amount of “stones” or “orbs” is only given when completing a dungeon of many parts whereas in Fire Emblem Heroes each stage you clear you receive a orb (in-game token to roll for select monsters). With the new monster exchange and evo materials stacking update, newer players will be able to have more space instead of wasting stones when running out of room. I would like to see some kind of storyline dungeon in which features the origin of monsters that gives us some background info of us, users, in the process of “recovering our memories” when entering the tutorial of the game by beating countless dungeons. I would like to suggest newly opposite game mechanics in which a dungeon or a monster spawn to have the ability that switches poison and the heart orb function around in which the “new heart combos” take the function of poison orbs, and the “new poison orbs” take the function of heart orbs when making combos.

Pretty amazing. Been playing for more than 5 years.

I have been playing this game for more than 5 years and surprisingly I love it. Sure I get tired time to time, however, with the release of new content and events that happen monthly I can’t seem to ever not play. The game is pretty brutal for beginners who don’t read instructions, which are most people I know that end up quitting. I’ve been through that phase since the first release of the game but I am able to clear almost every dungeon with practice and checking the dungeons online. This game requires more skill than most people think. Another great thing is the Gachapon system. The system is fair in my opinion. People should know what they’re getting into when playing a freemium type of mobile game. RNG is very high within the game so just be careful when spending.

Easy to play, hard to master

Strife0028

I’ve been playing this game since it came out, almost 5 years ago. I’ve seen it evolve from a ‘nice match3 with a twist’ to what it is now. You will not find a game anywhere with this amount of content, and although their UI hasn’t changed and feels somewhat dated by today’s standards, the rest is just amazing. They have been constantly adding not only content, but new mechanics to keep the gameplay new and fresh. The amount of depth in this game, despite the simplicity of its gameplay, is just astounding. Perfect example you don’t need over complicated mechanics to have great depth. To me PAD is the perfect example of great monetization and core loop. Even though you can spend tons of money in it, they keep giving rewards daily you can save up, so it doesn’t feel greedy at all. You can make good teams and clear 90% of content without spending anything. Many of the Ranking dungeons where you compete with other players are with fixed teams so only skill counts, and they added multiplayer with less cost and higher chance to clear dungeons. They have added content that is just impossible unless you have a crazy good team and godlike skills, but that’s why they added, to keep people interested even at those insane levels. But people will still complain that it’s unfair and not balanced, and it’s true. It’s not fair some people is just better at it. For regular mortals, the amount of content will keep you busy, literally for months and years. Try the game!

Pay or no, it’s your choice, still fun either way

I like this game not just because it’s one of the best match-3 games around, but because of how the company behind it does business. Is PaD pay to win? Sure. But I’ve been playing for five years, and I haven’t once ever felt like I had to spend money to do well. Not only that, but I have never once been bombarded with any sort of advertisement to spend money. If it wasn’t for the fact there’s an occasional banner on the title loading screen talking about bundle specials, you probably wouldn’t even know there’s a pay element to it. It’s the only game of its kind I know of that doesn’t constantly beg you for money. They also keep making improvements to the gameplay and the monster system to make things friendlier for players. Along with ever increasing collaborations with movies and shows, the game always feels fresh and new. It’s not for everyone, but PaD is a fantastic game.
