If you ever run out of ideas, get stuck in creativity or simply need some guidance when photographing people, you can use Posing App as a "posing cheat sheet". Many pro photographers use such a technique when preparing for and during the photo shoot. During a photo shoot don’t hesitate to discuss with your subjects which pose is or isn’t working in any particular situation. It’s very productive and you will feel more confident in what you are doing.
Merged in the practical mobile app format, all of the included poses in Posing App come with easy to understand descriptions and expressive hand drawn illustrations. In contrast to using real photos as samples, illustrations are only body outlines, so it's very simple for a model to understand and recreate the pose. Illustrations aren't in any way restrictive either, the model can be creative and come up with different variants on her own. Initial pose works simply as guidance for something to start with.
A variety of posing categories are available in Posing App: Children, Couples, Women, Men, Groups and Weddings. Over 300 poses are included offering a wide choice in any modeling scenario. A special Glamour section is available as in-app purchase including additional 86 carefully selected glamour poses for female models. While browsing the poses, use the "Add to favorites" feature for fast access during a photo shoot.
In addition, a collection of tips & tricks about people photography is compiled for easy reference. Topics include: "Basics of People Photography", "Face Expressions", "Head, Hand and Leg Positioning", "Accentuating Different Body Parts", "Composition and Equipment Advice for Photographers".

I’m on the iPhone X (currently July 2018) with iOS 11.4.1. The app works kinda show compared to when I used this with my iPhone 6. This bug issue should be easy to fix. Also, and chance we can get a category solely for boudoir?

Has an ok collection of poses but for $5 I was expecting much more... Tips and Tricks is very basic... nothing I didn’t know already

Not enough poses for couples. Tips are good. Author have forgot about updating this app. Not worth the $1.99 yet.

Screen shots indicate several categories of poses but the app only has one category, weddings, and only a few in that category. Total misrepresentation. I want my money back!
Good App to take on a shoot

I took my iPad out on a paid shoot for a family of three over Labor Day weekend with this app in hand. It came in really handy in giving the family ideas on how to pose. I like the fact that it uses line-drawings instead of models, so my clients didn't get intimidated or distracted by the looks of the models.

This is a great app if you ever find yourself with a creative block on photo shoots! The sketches are basic, but well done. I did purchase the Glamour addition, but I feel the name is misleading. It should be named something different, such as Boudoir posing in my opinion. But nonetheless a great addition. Well done. :)

Posing is one of the aspects of photography that I struggle most with. I've written down poses and printed out photos for ideas and reference but still seem to forget them or have trouble conveying to my subjects how to look. When I found this it was like a godsend. No more crumpled papers in my pockets with posing ideas on them. Those who are saying there isn't enough...are you kidding me? I found there to be plenty of various poses for each category especially women. its very easily laid out and the ability to pick and choose favorites is great. Well worth a few bucks...
