Using Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is extremely simple. You can view all of the nearby Pokemon in your area that have been discovered by your self and other players on the map, along with the times of day they were found.
If you're trying to find a specific Pokemon's location, you can quickly use the "Filter" feature to find the nearest one.
Since Poke Radar for Pokemon GO is driven by it's community, it's possible that there may not yet be Pokemon locations in your area when you first download the app. If this is the case, you can go out and mark the locations of Pokemon you've found to help other players in your area. When others view the location of the Pokemon locations you've marked, your trainer name will also be associated to aid your local trainer reputation. Everyone's gotta catch'em all - so why not work together?
All Pokemon location submissions have the ability to be "Upvoted" or "Downvoted" by others. If a submission receives too many "Downvotes" it will be automatically removed from the map. Highly "Upvoted" locations will receive display priority on the map.

AD Pop Ups!

The ads are too intrusive to the usefulness of this app. They should pop up upon opening the app or upon pressing certain features instead. Secondly, please let us add Pokemon locations in other places than where we are that second. Sometimes my wife will catch a Pokemon as we pulling down the street to our home and I would like to be able to pull into my driveway and add the Pokemon location 3 blocks away without it making the location set as my home. Otherwise great app! More people need to use it. It is great in busy areas like malls or colleges though!
The Ads Kill It

Used to really like this app. Caught several rare Pokemon and some not so rare which allowed me to evolve. Unfortunately I updated it, and now the ads have completely ruined it. I'll see a good Pokemon and while pinpointing their location, and an ad will pop up. You can't just click X in the corner and make it go away, they last for a good 10 seconds when they pop up and make you wait through 2 ads back to back. I have missed Pokemon because of these stupid ads. Several dratini, a jynx and a magmar (!). Considering how difficult it is to find and then catch those, I can't use this app anymore. The ads make it useless. I've noticed it barely shows any Pokemon anymore, so I suspect a lot of other people quit using it too.
Used to be a great app, then it went downhill fast

It has some good features, however you can't use them with out an ad popping up ever 10 to 30 seconds even with the chat and forum it pops up while you are typing can't even finish a sentence or an abbreviation. Honestly expected to get an ad pop up while I was doing the review that is how bad it is.

I've completely stopped using this app due to ads. Find a different way to display them. Sometimes you're in a hurry to get to the Pokemon and you need another quick check on the map, only... Now it's an ad that blocks the whole screen! Insanely annoying. Also, I'm purposefully never using any of the services that are advertised, because they annoy me. So total failure with those.
