To display todays date on the app icon badge you need to configure PocketLife in your devices Notification Centre found under the main settings app.
-NOTE: To Stop Old Events Being Removed:
You need to go into 'Mail Contacts Calendars' in the main device Settings app and then set 'Sync' to 'All Events'.

I'm never without my PocketLife calendar. Color coded events, templates, multiple views and themes, reminders and alarms, sync. Does everything I need and light-years better than the native calendar. I haven't found a better calendar app.

Missing appointments

I’ve had this app for years and it’s been fine. The past month, I’ve discovered several of my entries for appointments have gone missing. I’ve had the same physician’s appointment put in twice and twice I’ve found it missing from the calendar. Not sure what changes they have made to this app but I’ll be switching to a different one.

Love my calendar! Super easy, super reliable. How about putting out the Wiccan Wheel of the Year in the holiday section? How cool would that be!? Also, I know a huge amount of people would totally dig it if you could add what astrological sign the moon is in.

I have had a number of calendars for my iPhone. PocketLife is the best by far. The calendar is very user friendly!

I enter a name and then subject in the event field and every time the name moves to the location field. Not helpful

I have bee using the app for over a year now. It is part of my day planning regiment. I like the format and the only thing I would like to change is having the ability to get rid of the holiday banners
